Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1961 Jeep in excellent shape. Engine is a F-134 Hurrican, 4 cylinder, runs great. Body is in great shape. Gauges, brakes, brake lights, tail lights, turn signals, head lights and horn are working with no need for repair. This vehicle is ready for recreational activities.”

This looks like a MB body with the back cut out. From a distance, it doesn’t look all that bad …

“1943 Willys Jeep MB model. Original flat head 4 cylinder Willys engine. Misc parts and repair manual. This vehicle ran until the clutch went out, new clutch partially installed. This vehicle is a great project vehicle. Jeep doesn’t have a gas tank. This was an old Navy jeep. Still has the original blackout lights except for the headlight. This is great for the serious restorer.”

It’s not pretty, but looks complete and includes a plow and overdrive.
“I have a 59 jeep willys with a plow on the front. 4cyl 3spd manual trans with overdrive. everything works, starts and runs good. its ready to plow your driveway just in time for those heavy colorado spring time snows or its a prime candidate for a complete restore.”

Here’s an old dependable that needs a new master cylinder.
“63 willys cj5 w/ 6ft power angle plow. 4cyl f-head, 3spd.shifts threw all gears.clutch sticks when it sits but free’s up. i have had it going 35 or so down my street. this has been my yard plow for the past 2 years and has never let me down starts everytime. right now it only has about a foot of exhaust but really isnt that loud, ok maybe it is. the last storm the master cylinder blew out, before that the brakes worked fine. i dont have any paper work for it but will give a bill of sale. there is rot and some hacking done on the body but over all not to bad off. could be a nice off road project.”

This seller also has an M-38 and trailer for sale. This MB was previously listed as a 1942 MB.
“original WWII willys slatgrill jeep, original go devil flathead 4cyl converted to 12 volt. T84 trans works good, 4wd, works good, no leaks, all original condition,”
It looks like there’s been a patch along the driver’s side. Otherwise, this appears pretty stock. It’s not running.
“This antique classic Willys CJ3A Jeep’s frame and body are in good shape with little rust, has original motor and would be a great project. The heads have been machined for unleaded fuel. This jeep is the real thing. It was going to be a project vehicle, but we are moving this summer and now it must go. We were told it was running and the gearbox works good. The starter drags and will not turn over the engine fast enough to start. We haven’t worked on it at all since we have had it, but the previous owner had it running and would be willing to speak to anyone who is interested.”
