About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The price might be good on this. I can’t tell if there’s rust across the rear bottom of the windshield or if that’s just an illusion.
“runs good needs some brake work 68000 original miles 4 wheel drive works im third owner of the jeep as told to me by the first owner has some body rust but still looks good also has a small black top that is much better looking more pictures available.”
“Extremely rare 1962 FJ3A Jeep. Serious inquiries only. One of 46 FJ3A’s produced in 1962. Originally the laundry truck for nuns at a private girls’ college near Toledo. I’ve owned it since the ’70’s. Runs and looks great. Garaged and stored for years but driven summers to Cruise-ins. So ugly…it’s cute.”
It runs and includes a plow. The hardtop looks in good shape too.
“1961 Willys / CJ Jeep – 4 speed manual transmission, factory 4 cyl. eng., mileage unknown.
Runs but not well, might need a carb rebuild / tune or something, As you see it is how I bought it, I bought last year to use as plow truck for my property but am sick of tinkering with it I just dont know enough to fix it. Has Factory plow set up on it (works), the engine does not knock, has newer clutch, tires are ok, 4wd works, transmission seems good.
Interior is pretty much gone, body has rust, not the prettiest thing but parts wise and mechanically there is alot of good value here. It needs brakes, battery, radiator, maybe carb rebuild, knowledge and some time. Would be great for parts or with effort a good plow truck
Email me for contact info or any questions, thanks.”
The color scheme and signage is unusual (in a good way I think).
“This 1960 Willys Jeep has only 16,000 miles on it. It is a 6 cylinder. The outside has some rust around the back corners of the cab. The interior is like new. It needs some work — the starter needs to be rebuilt or replaced and the brakes need some work. We have the original owner’s manual and service manual.”
(01/05/2011) This appears to be a lefty at first glance, but I can just make out the bow holders on the driver’s side. Also, I was able to lighten up the passenger side and I see no indication there were bow holders on that side, but it does appear their was a spare tire holder there. I suspect the corner is weak or rusted.
“Runs great 4wd works great great jeep all stock but wheels and tires grandpa just wants a new toy call jake at 405-203-9616 or call joe at 405-284-6890.”
