1968 Jeep Kaiser M-725 $8,500 Wilbraham, MA

Love the look of the M-715 and M-725, it just has that GI Joe kids toy kind of rough and tough feel. This being a County rig is very cool. Wonder what the history of this one was.

This should have a later 230 Tornado that has a bunch of upgrades to it if it is a ’68, and with low miles might be a good little power plant.

Driveability, these were not designed for highway use, but they are cool rigs. You see most of the time the 230 needs to go away and maybe a 6BT is tossed in its place. Which is a cool engine but the Tornado is a neat just very niche and not for everyone.

If you buy it and swap out the 230, hit me up happy to add the engine to the collection.

Willys Jeep Engines and Transmissions $VARIOUS Athens, TN

230 Looks like a Wagon/Truck, showing a decent exhaust manifold, 2BBL Holley 2415 should be on there from what it looks like. It’s been detailed at some point in its life, would need some more numbers to dial in what year and the sort, which we can help with if someone wanted this one. I have 12, so I’m good at the moment, I will say the most I think I ever paid was right around the $800 mark and I overpaid for that one it happens. But this is showing a T90/D18 on the back (I think they want to sell this separate), if they separate it hopefully they do just pull the T90 combo and leave the Bellhousing (Same as a 226) if they remove the Bellhousing (which is so much work for no value there IMO) make sure to snag the Flywheel here they are unique to the 230, and the bolts are special as well that hold these on, but you really can’t take those out, I would not cut them ever take the time to properly remove the Flywheel its pretty straight forward once you have done one, just be careful in general so its not flying at you.

Couple other parts and pieces as well.

This is it for today, I’m already running late and its only 4:10am!

1963 Wagon 230 Tornado Morgantown, PA $27,000 (DEALER)

https://www.classicautomall.com/vehicles/6864/1963-jeep-willys-station-wagon

I’m sure most know about Classic Auto Mall out in Morgantown, PA. It’s a nice size consignment dealer, looks like they have a 10% commission, my guess is off the sale price, I’ve never delt with them but it looks like a really cool place to visit one day.

This is a nice “driver”, 230 Tornado. I’m partial to these and its actually really nice looking, there are some issues but overall has some neat features.

  • Factory Air Cleaner
  • Washer Bag and Nozzle.
  • It looks like its all pretty much there.
  • Looks nice.
  • Bright work is nice.
  • Trim is all there.
  • Wraparound rear bumper is nice
  • Interior is decent.

Things you may need to address.

  • Rust never sleeps kind of stuff; it’s a driver so looks like you can jump in and go!
  • Rubber pretty much needs a bunch of rubber stuff.
  • Springs, need to take a good look probably need to be done.
  • Leaks, while ingenious they have some cool magnetic drip cans, never seen that before but like a good Willys it marks it spot.
  • The engine compartment is all there but needs some clean up. Have a couple of weekends and you have a nice driver.
  • Some glass is older may need some work eventually.

Overall if this drives and stops enjoy it for a season then peck away at these things as time permits.

I have this at a “make an offer” and see if it sticks.
