Jalopy Journal has a short thread with a variety of pics. The wagon that caught my eye is shown below, a creatively constructed ‘party wagon’. I love it! There’s a few more pics of this at the website.
Monthly Archives: January 2010

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
The seller says this is a CJ-5, but it looks to be a CJ-6 with a full canopy. No motor.

1951 CJ-3A Loveland, Co **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
Best offer takes it. It hasn’t been run in a few years.
“1951 Willy’s Jeep. Great project. flat 4 engine was rebuilt 5 years ago, still needs new/rebuilt carborator and new rear seal. Body/Seats need work. Has sat for the last 5 years, I did not have the mony to complete rebuilding it.”
1946? CJ-2A? Anchorage, AK **SOLD**
UPDATE: Was $2800. **SOLD**
(06/01/09) The seller says this is a ’46, but the body looks more like a MB/GPW body. There’s no gas inlet and no bow holders.
“Willing to trade for a 4×4 chevy or import truck. Contact via email for more details”
1962 CJ-5 Hartford, Ct $4600
The seller claims this jeep only has 5100 miles. It looks pretty stock, but hard to believe the miles are that low.
“For Sale 1962 Willys CJ5 Jeep 5,100 original miles with Meyers 6′ snow plower in very good condition call 860-614-7096”

1949 CJ-2A Kettle Falls, WA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
(06/23/09) The suspension has been highly modified.
“1949 willlys jeep with all toyota running gear; 20r eng, transmission, transfer case and rear ends. Great project to finish up and get out on the trail. Needs a few things finished up but I have all the parts needed. I also have two toyota parts rigs that can go with it for free. It has a soft top but not in great shape and it also has a new bikini top and new tires.”
1946 CJ-2A Cleveland, TN **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
The drain holes have been plugged, which I suspect means there’s been some work done on the passenger and driver’s side areas of the body.
“You are 1946 Willys in great condition. This truck has been completely restored and looks and runs great. It has always been garage kept. We are selling it due to lack of room. This truck needs a good home. Transmission in great condition. Own your own piece of WWII history. This truck is as is, there is no warranty. This is pick up only. Happy Bidding. If you have any questions feel free to ask.”
1944 MB Fairplay, Mo $2500
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500
(11/22/09) It looks in reasonable condition.
“1944 military willys jeep runs and drives good needs paint.I am listing this for my dad call him @ 417-694-7642”
1948 CJ-2A ‘lefty’ Lamar, MO **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay. Possibly a Porter & Reed hardtop.
Here’s a CJ-2A that has the spare tire on the driver side and the bow holders on the passenger side. I see no evidence to indicate this was a military vehicle or a military ambulance.
“I am selling a 1948 Willys for a friend of mine. It runs good, all tires hold air, and it’s fun to drive around the farm. It has a clear missouri title. He was told that it used to be a military ambulance. I have posted several pics of it, but I can get all the pics you need, so just send me an email and tell me what you would like to see. I am starting the auction at the lowest price he said he would take for the willys, but if you want to make a reasonable offer I will ask him if he will take it.”
1956 Wagon Pendleton, OR **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
(12/20/09) I’m not sure if this runs or not.
