“This is a very neat truck. The first year for the Willys jeep truck production was 1947, This truck was the 972 willys truck ever built out of only appx 2600 .. Its a 2 T model. 2 wd. With the rare Column shift transmission. Flat head 4cyl motor. It is in remarkable condition for its age. These are prone to rust and this one is very solid !!!
I purchased this truck at the Iola vintage car show. My son and I have taken it to some shows, driven it around town and had fun with it. Now we want to buy a muscle car . These trucks as well as any old car are prone to rust, What impressed me the most about this truck was how solid the body was. This willys has never had the floors patched !!! Even the nicest old cars ive seen have had the front floors patched. This jeep has the orig floors. very nice body mounts underneath. orig Willys rocker panels, Nice door bottoms. Orig steel front and rear fenders. No rust in bed floor. The only body damage is on the tailgate, which is dented in the middle. They do sell new ones. I dont know how old the paint job is. Not a show job, but shines nice. Has some scratchs here and there. Wheels have been repainted, Tires are old, It think the spare is the orig 1947 tire !!! The interior has a new headliner. Orig cover on the upper seat back, and recovered lower seat, Orig steering wheel, The wipers dont work. Doors open and shut great. Lights all work great”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
This is worth a closer look. It appears to be sporting a M-38 dash panel.

Here’s a website with an extensive history of four wheel drive. Based on a credit at the bottom of the page, I believe this was originally created/published by Four Wheeler.com.
Recently, Egon, from Lichtenstein, and I had been having a conversation about a Jeep project he’s trying to determine how to tackle. Once again, the google online translation software has been effective enough to allow a conversation to occur.
Egon recently sent me some photos of his projects. He’s done some very nice restorations. Danke Egon!

Here is a 1968 Puch Haflinger he rebuilt (haflingers):
And here are a couple of great images of his Russian UAZ 469, which he says he took on a successful Elk hunting expedition in the Kirov region of Russia. It sports a 2500 cc engine and has a max speed of 75KM/H

“Very cool driver>>>>all original drive train and still runs like new. This is a good project or keep as is and use as a slow driver. No speed demon here as this was designed as a work horse with top speed around 50 mph. This is a good 20 footer and is a lot of fun. Take to Sand Lake and you can drive to town as this is what we used it for. Give me a call and we can make a deal as I am out of room. John @ 360 600-8213. Will deliver locally. It also comes with tow bar and you can Rat Rod it or make a cool Hot Rod too!”

**SOLD to an ewillys reader**
“1947 Willys CJ2A. It needs work. I bought it about 3 years ago and just do not have the time or the money to restore it. It comes with a windshield but it is not original and it has a crack. It did work 2 and a half years ago but that was the last time I messed with it. It is not a military jeep. I have the title in my possession. $1000 or best offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was for Trade
It’s hard to tell much from the pics, however it appears in decent condition. It’s a project.
