There are pics, but no pics of the seller’s Jeep. This also doesn’t have an engine.

This looks like a solid jeep at a good price.
“This is a 1959 Willys Jeep CJ-5 with a 283 ci Chevy engine. It has a removable hard top and a detachable snow plow. (The snow plow could be sold seperately). It starts and runs strong. Has new wheels and tires with lock-out hubs. Dual exhaust that sounds great. The body is solid with very little rust. More pictures available upon request. Call Gary at 573-754-0880”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6200
(10/27/09) It looks nice enough, though the windshield seems a little tilted back.
“1950 Jeep Willy, Rock Roller, off-road, 4×4, completely rust free, all new electrical, new 5.0 V-8, extra parts. Very reliable, orange color Very Light and cheaper than a Rhino. Will go anywhere: sand, dirt, mud. $6,200.00 obo. Will consider any reasonable offer. Don’t buy a rust bucket for $3,000-4,000 when you can own this rust free jeep with a V-8, ready to play!”
UPDATE: Still Available. More pics added.
(03/01/2010) Here’s a pretty raw, stock CJ-2A. It’s been sitting for 35 years.
“1948 Willys CJ2A, with original 6 volt system and hard top. Original 134 ci motor, Carter carb, and all original tranny, transfer case and running gear. Jeep also has original heater and custom hard top with all doors and perfect glass. Perfect opportunity for a restoration project, but has been parked since 1975 and not running. Title in hand. Can send additional photos upon request. Asking $1900 or OBO. (530) 743-7215.”
I ran across JP Magazine’s feature about the Olson’s ice racing jeep “Black Ice” today. There are a variety of interesting and unusual ideas implemented in this custom rig that could probably be used for road, trail and off-road racing applications. It’s a fun Jeep to check out.
Learn much more about this vehicle at JP Magazine and view many more pictures there, too. Here are a couple images:
To my surprise, while browsing the internet I ran across a Jeep Salvage yard in Montana today. Montana Overland sits on 20 acres in Plains, Montana, a town which, ironically, does not appear to be on the plains of Montana, but, instead, is nestled within the mountains. Montana Overland specializes in “hard-to-find parts for your Jeep Willys wagons and pickups from 1946 through 1988“. So, if you are looking for wagon or pickup parts, you might try them.
They also have a variety of vehicles for sale and have an inventory of parts.
For example, here is a FC-170 flatbed for $1200, though it appears they may accept a lower offer.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1350.
This runs. It looks good. It appears to be a fantastic deal.
