1963 Wagon Myrtle Beach, SC **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

There’s plenty of work left on this, but some nice attributes.

“This Willys was being restored by the previous owner, he had a V-8 rebuilt and installed (327 ci. I think)(no I cant see the #s on the block) painted it, and installed some aftermarket seats. The trans was out being rebuilt, and was stolen. The owner lost interest and parked it for years, and then decided to sell it. I purchased it with the intention of a full restoration, but a week later another one came up for sale I had previously tried to buy, so now I have 2 of them.  I found a rebuilt trans, that also came with a transfer case. (they are not hooked together or installed) This willys also has a PTO winch with the shafts, but I was not willing to pay for the pto case that hooks to the transfer case, so that is missing, you can remove the winch and sell it, or the case sells for $250.00 to $300.00. I have not gone through all the boxes of parts (as nothing was reinstalled after painting) but the parts may or may not all be there. And the glass needs to be put back in, all the rubber appears to be good. The paint job is okay, but I was going to change the color while it was stripped down, as the repaint has some chips and scratches. The dribe shafts have just been gone through and have new u-joints. The motor is not locked, as I can turn the crank and get movement and has good compression.”

1959 CJ-3B San Diego, Ca $2500

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3B • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

The price looks great on this.  That said, many people don’t know that these were used during the war of 1959, a little known war pitting the Federalists vs. the Occupationists …

This is a very cool Vintage Willy’s Jeep. These were used during the war. Willing to consider a trade for a motorcycle (NO dirt bikes, street legal only please!). Contact me more complete details on the Willy’s. It does need some TLC and general clean-up since it has not been driven much. Carburator and brakes need work, tires and body are in good condition.”

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000

(04/20/2010) Dan spotted this jeep.

“1947 Jeep Willys 4×4…. All Chevy running gear….Including a 4.3 V6 with aluminum intake, 700r4, power steering, tilt wheel, and power disc brakes…. All gauges, head lights, tail lights, and blinkers work great…. It has really nice seats in it…. It has really great floors in it…. This Willys was used for the back roads, so it is not registered….If you want to drive it on the highway (it does great on the road) it would need to be inspected by the DOL….its easier than you think….I will let it go for 3k with out the new 32×11.50×15 BFG muds (they still have the nipples on them) or 4k with them”

1946 CJ-2A Red Bluff, CA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $2100.

“This is a 46 flat fender (willy’s) with a clean title
front axle is a dana 44 with front disc (scout axle) with a powerlock locker
rear axle is a dana 44 with a electrac locker (scout axle)
35 12.5 baja claws
sprung over with a shackle reversal and high travel shocks
15 gal fuel cell
buick 225 odd fire motor
sm 420 4-speed (7 to1 first gear) with a dana 20 transfer case
4 core radiator
original military winshield (flips up and folds down)
original military grill and fenders
full roll bar
power steering with saginaw box
hydraulic clutch

im selling this cheap because its an ongoing project and its not without its share of problems. It has come a long way since i bought it and up until recently its been a badass wheeler, but its time for me to part with it. The motor is the main problem at this point it just wont dial in. If i were to keep it i would put a different motor in it. It starts but just doesnt run right, distributor/timing isnt jiving which causes it to overheat and it has a moderate miss. I want to sell it whole but will consider parting out, i would have to sell the axles in a pair Or trans and transfer in 1 before I sell everything else.. after one of those two are gone everything is up for sale.”

Builds: Kurtis finds Ike and starts a restoration

• CATEGORIES: Builds, CJ-3A, Features This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

In early April of 2010, Kurtis found a solid looking, stock 1950 CJ-3A named Ike that he plans to restore to off-the-dealer-floor condition.  He’s built a website (http://kurtisfranklin.com/blog/) to chronicle his restoration adventures and recently provided some good details on a V-Cell Radiator.

Good luck on your restoration Kurtis; I think it will turn out well!  Here’s a pic of Ike:

JeepGod’s Jeep Manufacturers List

• CATEGORIES: Features, Website This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

I ran across JeepGod’s website today.  There’s a variety of interesting tidbits on the site, including an inexpensive solution for an air compressor, a nicely drawn out map for navigating Uwharrie National Forest in North Carolina, and the below list of Jeep Manufacturers, which provides some details into the specific companies that manufactured the vehicles we generally describe as Jeep or Willys.  I hadn’t thought of organizing a list quite like this, so I thought I’d highlight it for readers. It’s certainly not an exhaustive list, as there’s no FC-170 listed, but that’s a minor quibble I think.
