(05/25/2010) Is that a stainless grille? If so, this looks like a good price.

(04/29/2010) This is CJ-3B on top and ’71 CJ-5 on the bottom. The front shackles have been reversed. Much more done as well (the seller provides a very long description in the Ad).
“What I have is a CJ3B siting on a 1971 CJ5 Frame, so it has been titled as a 71 CJ3B. It has a strong running Buick 225 V6 Oddfire, T18 4spd transmission with granny 1st. and new clutch, Fresh rebuilt Dana 20 transfer case, newer drivelines and U-Joints, open knuckle Dana 30 front with disk breaks (no locker), Dana 44 rear with welded spiders, Front shackle conversion, Rancho lift springs (sprung under axle), Powder Coated black custom front and rear bumpers, Hi-Lift mount on rear with storage rack, SW guages (fuel, amps, oil, water temp, tachometer all work fine) Speedometer gear just went out so it needs replacing on the transfer case otherwise it works fine, has brand new cable. Lights and signals works perfect, even hazards. Brakes are great, 4×4 works flawlessly. Solid body and frame. Frame has been braced in the weak spots. Good 32×9.50 TSL’s on black steel wheels with allot of offset to keep the tires out further, it will fit 35’s with a shackle lift…..”
There weren’t a lot of updates on Craigslists this evening. I have several reports for tomorrow: 1) I readjusted my carb after having more problems; 2) I went jeeping today for about 4 hours and the carb worked great, though I ran into a problem with a geyser; and 3) I’ll be going out again tomorrow to see if I fixed today’s geyser issue.
Enjoy Memorial Day!
This has got a great old top.
“Flat head 4 cylinder engine. Winch runs off transfer case from transmission.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
(05/01/2010) I like this one. However, the engine hasn’t been run in a while. Also, rear drivelines generally don’t just bend, so i suspect the rear end might need a rebuilt.
“1954 Willys M170 Front Line Ambulance. Serial #10538. This was running when it was parked. I don’t know much about the Jeep other than what I was told by the Rancher I got it from. NO TITLE ranch jeep sence late 70s was parked in a barn after rearend went out. I towed it home with no problems. Rear driveline is bent, I do not hear any noise in rearend when it is puled with towbar. This jeep was at an airport when the rancher aquired it. Has the military radio, mike, and loud speker in the dash. see pictures. I have not done anything with it SOLD AS-IS NO WARRANTY. I can store for awhile but will be outside. CASH or BANK DRAFT ONLY!! ”
UPDATE: a reader reports this is sold. Was for sale for $8k.
I’m gonna guess that this is a rare 1968 CJ-3B titled as a 1969, as I believe ’68 was the last production year.
“1969 willys Jeep. Professionally built 302 engine mileage in picture is actuall miles on the engine. 3 speed manual transmission. High and low range 4-wheel drive w/lock in hubs. Has been rebuilt as a project looking to sell so I can buy another one and rebuild it. You can email me for more pictures.”
This might be worth a trip to Sandpoint.
“Willeys Jeep. Grandpas project ran 7 to 8 years ago. Complete jeep with spare for parts 43 or 45. Please e-mail questions to chris@stknoxacademy.com”

“1948 willys cj2s, needs tranny rebuilt, has a 225 odd fire v6 that run, axels are good, brakes are good, has rust, need restored. I used the tranny out of it for another jeep and no longer need this one so its time to sell. Rebuild or replace the tranny, one front brake hose, and this will drive. I have tranny/transfer case with it, its all there, its all there except the park grake handle ( I never had one ) just need rebuilt and put back in.Top is in ok condition, its all stock except the v6. all the lights work. I have no room to keep this, so it needs a new home.”
