This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s a fine looking CJ-5.
“1956 CJ5 set up with 350 v-8 chevrolet engine steel crank camel hump heads 4 bbl carb runs awesome less than 6,500 miles on it turbo 400 automatic transmision 2yrs old. newer front bucket seats custom rear seat. Has enough room for the family. Sits on new super lift springs with new shocks and spring shackles inside of tub is lined. Curently sitting on 31×10.50×15 tires BFG all terrains with at least 90% tread on them body is straight has some scratches and nicks in it windsheild is cracked as well. Keep in mind I use it as a Jeep it goes ooff road and it does it well the kids love it it is not perfect anymore but in good shape just looking to do something different. I am asking $3,900.00 Thats it I do not want any trades I have to many things that I don’t need no scams No free rides If your interested cal or come see it. “Up for sale is a very rare Jeep Gladiator. The vehicle was made in 1969 and then was issued a vin number in 1970 before kaiser sold to AMC. This vehicle has a very rare 350 V8 Buick motor with an automatic, they only made the vehicle with an automatic for one year with these motor options. This has a true four wheel drive running gear, with dana 60 lockers, that have been gone thru and serviced. Currenlty the vehicle needs the rear glas put in the door panels put on and the bed to be bolted back on, it used to have a flat bed on it.as well as the gas tank to be put back in. It is still on the trailer and can be delivered if need be. Like I said this vehicle does run that is how i got it on the trailer, I have the title in hand with new plates as well. (05/18/2010) This looks great. It appears to sport a replacement body. Not a bad price.
“1948 Willys CJ2A runs drives and stops. New brakes and lines 5 years ago; aftermarket steel tub, hood and tailgate, no rust on the body, original windshield. I do not know the mileage but have a clear Wisconsin title for it. I think it is an MB frame. I have used it as a toy on my farmette near Monroe, Wi. It starts up every spring but I just use it to drive locally. The tires are new, non directional with less than 100 miles on them. The pics were taken before the new tires. I bought it from a guy in northern Wi who painted it with a brush but it looks pretty good anyway. I have a new steering wheel and correct passenger seat frame for it, just not installed. Don’t need to sell but also don’t need the toy”

A reader named John is selling this nicely restored MB.
“1945 Willys 1/4T reconnaissance truck, JEEP, delivered to the military 3-7-45 and recently completed a tub-off restoration. All restoration work correct to original specs with primarilly original NOS parts and professional rebuilds of the motor, drivetrain, axles, diffs, tranny and TC. Era correct top quality canvas and rubber throughout and every detail of the restoration process was documented in scores of digital pics. Over $14000 in parts and services alone with receipts available. This Willys is a classic example of a combat jeep in the ETO circa. early ’45. ”
In order to keep costs as low as possible, Cliff and the folks down at Mississippi State University have decided to rebuild the F-head that currently powers the M-38 FireJeep they have. One of the important items they need is a replacement F-head/L-head crankshaft.

Hand built boxed and doubled frame( no more frame flex and broken body mounts. extra capacity fuel tank (25 gal) in original position. set up with tow bar for flat towing. 37×12.5-17 bfg AT<s on Mickey Thomson Classic II wheels. front axel= Dana 44 3/4 ton 4.10. rear = Dana 44 4.10. saginaw 77 steering box with new seals. hydroboost brake booster. NP 205 transfer case. TH350 trans, rebuilt with B&M kit. 1994 chev 350 runs exellent. Edelbrock 4 Barrel carb and manifold. MSD 6a ignition. Painless wiring kit. VDO guages, 85 mph speedo,tach,volt,fuel,oil,temp,( also included vacum and trans temp).”
