This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Dave let me know that this VEC is for sale over at the CJ-2A Page. The seller hopes to sell the entire jeep, but if he can’t get it sold, he plans to part it out. This has a serial number of #14575, so it is a very early CJ and it would be a shame to see this parted out.

“1965 jeep cj5 f134 engine runs good starts easy, t90 trans (pops out of second t90 parts are cheap and easy to fix) hard top with hard doors that pop off fast, body is rough with patch work, front brakes need work (can convert to disk) tires are missed matched, do have 31″ studded 70% tires that can go with! twin stick transfer! locking hubs! tow bar! heater! this jeep is fun to drive around town just don’t have the time to fix the minor problems, would be good hunting rig or has lots of parts that would work on a Willy’s restoration $1350 OBO will take any reasonable offer!”

This has a rear PTO, but looks pretty beat up.
