Looking for something else, I encountered these two treasures from treasurenet.com.
Monthly Archives: September 2010

“Stock 1967 CJ-6, stock 134 motor and driveline. Ran when I parked it (5 yrs ago) but now has no compression in 2 cyl…maybe valves hung up? Didn’t try much to start it yet? Body is heavily rusted…hood, windshield good. ”

This appears to have a mb windshield.

This might be rough.
“1942 Willeys Jeep. Great restoration project. Had intended to make a rock crawler out of it, but life does not make time.”

You can probably get this for less. It appears very stock.
“Resto project with oem flathead. Steve 209 892-8696”
1948 CJ-2A Dubuque, Ia $1200
This doesn’t look all that rough, though the tranny and tc are out.
“All original, rough condition. Motor turns over but doesn’t start. Transmission pulled. Dad drove and parked in barn 15 years ago. Have title but hasn’t been registered since then. Please call 563-213-0059.”

1951 M-38 Pennellville, Ny $1300
This might make a good restoration project if the seller’s description is accurate.
“Need something to keep you busy this winter? This vehicle needs to be restored. I purchased it completely apart and have no time for the restoration process. The body tub is in excellent shape, frame is perfect, and all parts are with it. All data plates are origanal and still on mounting plate. It is a great project for anyone with restoration experience, and time for the project.”
Year? CJ-3A Loveland, Co **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900.
The windshield arms are oddly bent. The body looks solid. The Jeep is not complete.
Used as a presentation piece. No Engine or Drive Lines. Has Transmission, Transfer Case and New Tires. New Paint in 2005. Vehicle kept inside”

This looks good for the price, though it isn’t original.
