“1953 Willys CJ3B. New fuel pump and fuel tank, rebuilt carburetor. New alternator and converted to 12 volt. New upholstery. Seat belts. Original heater. Warn hubs. Aftermarket turn signal switch on column. Speedometer needle broken, but speedometer still works. Spare tire and mount included, but not attached. Storage box in rear. The body is in good condition, with some minor rust spots. Custom rear bumper includes two jerry can carriers. It’s been in storage for several years, but still starts and runs good.”
This looks like it would make a great restoration project.
“Here is great deal on a classic Jeep. I hate to sell it, It was a project for my son and I but I just got laid off and need to sell it. The Jeep runs great. New coil, fuel pump, spark plugs, clutch, brakes. Muffler, overhauled engine and the clutch was put in 2 years ago and about 500 miles since then. Only used it to get icecream with the kids. Planned complete restoration but other things have happened. Been converted to 12 volt. Its great driver now. The odometer says 4500 but its alot more!. Tons of extra parts!. Look at the pictures and see. Extra clutch that was sent to me by accident, new electrical harness, fuel tank, starter, gasket set, Front seat cushions, engine parts, manuals, parts catalogs electric wipes, new carb, a almost new set of tires. Military tires on their now which are in great condition. The top is in good condition, Not installed. The frame is in EXCELLENT condition. Very solid. Body is solid too with minor surface rust. Needs a few things. The foot starter button needs a new mounting flange but is still woking. Turn signals and gas gauge not working. Starting the Auction off at $2500.00 If you buy it now at $5,500.00 I’ll throw in a 36″ Sheet metal shear, 24″ Diacro hand break, A diacro turret punch and the hypotherm plasma cutter. All that you can see in the other Auction Im putting up in a few hours. Everything you need to do a complete frame up restoration. Must be picked up.
****** I got several questions regarding if there is “rot” and about rust. I was a metal fabricator for 14 years and a certified license aircraft mechanic. There is slight surface rust not metal rot. The back seat is faded and starting to rot but the metal pans are solid. I included 2 new pictures of the dash and floor.”
This looks like a nicely updated wagon.

(07/15/2010) This looks solid. I wonder if that really is a BW OD or a Warn OD.
“Original M38. New seats(front buckets and rear military style quick removable “clam shell style bench), tires, brakes. Runs great! starts right up and goes anywhere. Borg-warner O/D so it’ll cruise 60mph if you dare. It’s not a perfect museum piece yet, but high KBB is $17.5k for one like that.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
(08/21/2010) “Here is one of the rarest Jeeps out of my collection, and by far the most original un-restored complete Jeep, a 1959 FC170 with the 9 foot bed option. Original paint, never been repainted. Paint has great patina and shows age of the Jeep. Two owners, complete and fully documented ownership history, including the original dealership bill of sale. I went through this Jeep and made everything work. Original engine needed spark plugs and a tune up and a new generator. I found an original era correct generator. Everything on the Jeep is original, the interior is complete, seat upholstery is original, the running gear is refurbished and works as it should, including the engine, the 3 speed manual, the transfer-case, 4 wheel drive, axles, diffs, all in good running condition. I cleaned and re-sealed the tank and rebuild the sending unit. This Jeep drives real nice, and everything works, the heater, all the electrical, the turn signals, lights. Complete with original headliner, original door panels, original sun visors, and a few rare items like a vinyl cigarette box holder attached to the visor. The stencil “Jeep” and “4 Wheel Drive” insignias on the tailgate are original. The tires are original old stock, most likely the second set, dating early 60’s. A true survivor, this Jeep spent 90% of her life in one family, who owned a RV business in a small town in Washington State. The Jeep was mostly used to plow occasional snow on the RV lot, otherwise the Jeep parked in the dry. The body is completely stock and original, no accidents, no rust with the exception of pitting and surface rust on rear fender flares and surface rust on the bed floor. Because it is so original I never had plans to repaint or frame-off restore this Jeep, I always loved the original condition it is in. I just made everything work properly, with the goal to avoid any modern upgrades or parts replacements that are not era correct. This Jeep drives real nice, it breaks properly, shifts nicely and the engine sounds very healthy. This FC170 is a true survivor. Your chance to own a piece of Jeep history. The Black/Yellow California plates are not original, they are new personalized DMV issue and I painted them to the correct colors. The license plate does read “59FC170″ and is included in this sale. I added the vintage ’59 Texas truck plates for looks, this Jeep was never registered in Texas. Original West Coast Jeep all her life! The rare Texas plates are also part of the sale. The snow plow mechanism works, but I do not have the plow blade. This Jeep, like all my other Jeeps listed for sale on Ebay, has valid and current California Registration, new tags good through 2011. The title is clear and in my name. I have collected Jeeps for many years, and I am selling a number of rare Jeeps out of my collection.”
UPDATE: Was $18,999. **SOLD**
