Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks good.
“This is a Ford built GPW Jeep with a delivery date of April 16th 1945. A frame off restoration was completed about two years ago. All new brake system, electrical system, cooling system, fuel system. The engine is a rebuilt Ford block/head. The carburetor, and steering box has been rebuilt. The radiator is a reproduction exact replica of an MB radiator made in USA. The Tub, four of the combat rims and one of the front fenders is reproduction. Since the restoration the jeep has been used for parades, veteran events, reenactments, and in several independent movie shoots. The Jeep has current California title and registration”

This looks good, except for the missing data plate.

Unfortunately, the back was cut out.
“1942 Jeep Willy’s. All original except for the tires. The odometer reads 51,000 miles. This is a restoration project, but well worth it. Last time it was started it ran, and was driveable, but we have lost the key. There is no title for it, but that can be gained by turning in the plates for 30 days. Will need to be towed away. Exterior is in fair shape. Some rust, but no holes. The hinge for the hood needs to be fixed. Any questions feel free to email. Already have a lot of people interested, but I am going to take the best offer.”

The seller lists the year as a 1944 then notes in the comments it might be a 1946-1948. However, I’d say it’s more like a CJ-3A. The seller also notes the body is in great shape, clearly ignoring the patches along both sides of the body. I love the authentic bullet holes in the glass.
“NOT EXCATLY SURE OF DATE IT WAS MADE(46-48) BUT ITS IN GREAT SHAPE 4 BEING SO OLD. WILL RUN WITH A LITTLE TLC. THE MILAGE IS NOT RIGHT CAUSE LIKE I SAID ITS NEEDS TLC.
