“1949 Willy’s Jeep $8000 or best offer. The JEEP is in Centreville, Maryland. Nearly a complete rebuild and in great condition. I am now working on another project and will need to get this out of my garage. The JEEP comes with a new soft convertible top [installed]and has had substantial engine rebuild and other items replaced over the past several months. Is a 6 volt system, but I have the replacement alternator to convert to 12 volts. The jeep comes with an “A” Frame tow bar hitch attached to the front bumper to make towing easier. Rig has a removable homemade hardtop, heavy roll bar. oversize aggressive tread tires with steel wheels, high- back bucket seats. this jeep is strictly a backwoods runner and not a show piece. It is strong in the off road mode. Might consider trade for running street legal motorcycle or a clean fold-a-boat sport boat.cs”

Dates:  August 5, 6, 7, 2011.

This is an FC only event open to anyone interested in Jeep FC Trucks and Fleetvans.

People and trucks can arrive at the rear parking lot after 3 p.m. on Friday Aug 5th.  The parking lot has a 6 foot fence and gate that is locked each night.  The gate will be unlocked Sat and Sun at 9 AM.  We will have a barbecue on Saturday.  There are covered areas (for people & barbeque) in case of rain.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500

“This is a fun, mechanically solid trail jeep. It has been on almost every trail in Washington and every sand dune in Oregon, so it has some issues. I have alway driving this Jeep hard but not to the breaking point. After every trip this Jeep got a good cleaning, fluids checked then got it ready for the next trip before putting it away. It drives pretty good on the street, but with the rear spool and no turnsignals and no full top, it is not a daily driver.
