UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
This looks good for the price assuming it runs.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $7500.
(06/24/2010) It looks like a nice enough jeep.
“I was a leader in the off road industry for decades. I use to own the leading off road company. when i was young I built this Jeep from the ground up in 1967. It has only about 8,000 miles on it (95 percent offroad). It has been featured in magazines like Four Wheeler (i can email articles). It has a Stainless Steel body which is probably worth the asking price alone. I had one, my brother has one and we sold one in 1968 to someone, I do not know of any others that were produced like this. It has a Buick V-6 engine (it is special, steel crank not cast) that was producing 225 horsepower for 225 cubic inches Naturally (no turbo, no NOS, no blower). It has a Borg Warner T-10 Transmission with Hurst shifter, Dana 30 open Knuckel front end with positraction (6 gear steel) 3.73 ratio, disc brakes, Dana 44 rear with positraction. And of course Rancho Suspension. The Jeep has only been driven a few miles (under 400 miles in last 25 years and that is on road) since 1985 when my dad died and I lost interest in going off road. It has a miss at 4000 RPM probably due to not being run much. It is not as slow as some Jeeps, it does over 65 MPH in 1st gear! (it has a 4speed). The fastest i have had it is about 120 MPH in 4th and it had more but it was scary at that speed. This is for an Enthusiast or collector, it is street legal but this was built for off-road.
I HAVE ADVERTISED FOR $13500 AND IT IS WORTH OVER $25,000. I HAVE NOW OFFERED AT UNDER $10,000 SOMEONE WILL GET ONE HELL OF A JEEP. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. 310 2921182 GENE my price is firm so please do not even respond if you can not afford the asking price”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,000.
It has 13,000 original miles.
“1957 Willys pickup. 13000 original miles, 6 cyl super hurricane. HY-LO- Jeep plow All original. There has been some touch up paint and there is some surface rust in bed short of that this truck is unmolested. After market brake lights were installed for State inspection requirements. There is also a Mlco Brake Lock installed as well (have no clue what this does). I am getting rid of this vehicle because it is to nice for what I need. This truck needs to be put in some one’s collection and not be exposed to anymore NH harsh winters”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3600
(11/06/2009) It appears in good condition.

“1960 cj3b high hood jeep. Really straight body. It has a stainless steel fuel tank, nice seats, clean floor, and a nice vinyl top with doors. The frame is nice and straight and has a tough rear bumper. The engine is the 4 cyl. overhead valve with a 3 speed tranny and runs excellent. It also has a new battery and a towbar so it can be pulled behind another vehicle.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2250.
Engine is out (sitting in the back).
“1948 jeep cj2a has a 4 cyl engine and 3 spd it also has the rear seat frame the engine is removed andlooks to have had some work done. All parts are there. A very straight and original old jeep that would make a good project call 402-200-0153”
UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $5000
“This 1951 Willy’s Jeep has a 1976 Buick V6 in it with an electronic ignition (very handy). It has the original transmission with the overdrive. It runs quite well. I have a wife and two kids. It no longer functions in our family program. It needs someone to care for it and love it. It’s been stored in a garage for the last 20 years. It has some rust only on the surface. In my opinion all it needs is a sandblasting job and some Linex. also some gasket replacement underneath. Based on my pricing research this is a good price. I am not willing to sell it for any less. Purely on principal alone.
It runs.
