Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: This was first listed in 2009. It was originally listed for $13,000 or make offer. Now it is just ‘make offer’. The first listing only had one pic. The new listing has more pics and makes it appear that the jeep has been well taken care of (with the exception of those yellow lights on the grille — oh the inhumanity!).

“46 willys jeep project.dont have the money to finish. engine has been bored .030 over with new pistons. the pistons are installed along with the crank.have lots of new stuff for the engine… new gasket kit, new fuel pump, new exhaust manifold, new master carb rebuild kit with carter WO carb, new head bolts,new starter ring gear. the body is good with the typical floor rust . hood , fenders and grill are strait and have very little rust, windshield needs new glass and inner frame. have two original seats. have starter and generator.
