1946 CJ-2A Montesano, Wa $2000

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

According to the seller, “no modifications have been made on this jeep“.  I count at least 21 modifications (not counting the tires).   That said, the body looks pretty good.

“This jeep has been garaged except the last the few months. Had to do some remodleing in my garage. There is little surface rust in a few spots nothing major. Role bar in back, snap on soft top. Small rust hole on passager side floor board. ENGINE NOT RUNNING, This jeep is in great shape considering the year it is made. Reply to this or call 360-249-4063. Ask for Kurt
Thanks for looking. This jeep wouldn’t take much to fix up nice if you have time and money that I don’t have. This jeep is all original from 1946, no modifications have been made on this jeep. There is not speedometer in the jeep, there never has been so I have no idea how many miles are on it, it the second engine that has been put in it.  Asking $2000.00 for it, title in hand.”

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was on eBay

Steve notes that this still has the column shift mechanics, though it also has a floor shift.

“This is a 1946 Willys CJ2A that I bought from a customer of mine.  Her husband bought it brand new and I have only driven it to town a few times.  The gears are good and tight. It starts just fine on the 6 volt system.  The Heater still works and I think they are kind of rare.  When I bought the jeep She said that it had not been started for over ten years.  After inspection I found thick oil in the oil pan so I removed the pan and cleaned out the old oil before trying to start the engine.  At this time I took pictures of the cylinders for inspection.  Two of the cylinders have marks where the rings sat over the years.  The cylinders will at sometime need to be honed out to remove the small ridges which you can see in the pictures.  After I had the carburator cleaned and we were able to start the engine the water pump had to be replaced with a new one and I put a new belt on at that time.

I have driven the jeep around while hunting and totally had a great time.  It is like going back in time and looking at the scenery a little longer because you are traveling a little slower.”

1951 CJ-3A Statesboro, Ga $3850 on eBay

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

I’ve included only part of the description.  The seller’s description is extensive.

“This is a 1951 CJ3A Willys jeep that belonged to a SE Georgia Cattle farmer and hasn’t ever been in salty roads of colder areas. This vehicle was one of 3 jeeps that belonged to person and had nice weather proof shelter over head appeared not to have been abused or trashed” and limited use because of multiple “toys. This is not a patch plate or bondo special as some of these older Willys on ebay appear to be and even the under pasenger seat utility box is solid(rare). The wind shield frame is very solid as well and this is recurring problem on Willys exposed to elements as well as floor pans. The paint is recent and is enamel OD green and only pic with dog is pre new paint that jeep is currently….”

Mark published this FC ad today.

“I have a 1958 Jeep FC-150 for sale. It has the original motor, transmission, and transfer case in it. The motor is not locked up, but will not crank. Has most of the interior parts except the seats. I have two sets of doors for it. The front windshield is in good shape. That is the only glass I have for this truck. I have a Dana 30 and a Dana 44 that is currently being installed in the truck. When I purchased this truck it had a front axle from a Mail Jeep. So I was going to put it back to 4wd. There are two OEM wheels and 4 aftermarket wheels. The odometer says about 10,000 miles. There are a lot of original parts still on this truck. The lower cab corners are rusted. Some of the floor board joints and bends are rusted, but still very sturdy.

I have the title in hand. This truck comes with a lot of extra parts. Price: $2,000 or Best offer
