1945 GPW Nelson, Va **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD**  Was priced at $6000.

This looks like a good price.

“Due to financial dificulties, I am putting my WWII Jeep up for sale that I have owned since 1967. It was delivered to the Army in April 1945. That is the only history of it prior to when I purchased it that I know. I have tried to keep it as original as possible. I spent over $6000 in parts in 1997 (canvas top, seats, tires, lights, gauges, brakes, exhaust, carburetor, etc.). This past fall, my son and I installed all new leaf springs, shocks and shackles. It runs good and is very reliable. Never fails to get attention wherever we drive it. Has CLEAR title. Asking $6000 obo.”

1945 MB Austin, TX **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: MB • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,000

This looks real nice, but has a mix of dates and parts.

“Beautiful Willys MB. This is believed to be a 1945 MB, but year and serial number are unknown. Reproduction plates indicate a 1942 Willys. This jeep has undergone a frame off restoration and is perfect for parades, re-inactors, and collectors.

The frame is in excellent shape with minor work done on the front frame horns. The previous owner put in a rebuilt CJ2A/3A civilian flat head L-head engine. He said the engine was rebuilt a few years ago.

Everything has been gone through on this jeep and everything has been cleaned, repainted, or replaced with new, NOS, or repro parts.

Chassis and Drive Train: New leaf springs front and rear, new/rebuilt shackles, new shocks, new axle bumpers, frame stripped/blasted and painted, new front bumper, new gussets and new spring mounts – frame horns welded to repair some minor wear and tear.

Drive train has new u-joints, new clutch and bearing, new seals and bearings on tranny and transfer case which were drained, cleaned and repainted, and all fluids and gaskets replaced, new e-brake pads, hardware, and cable, new engine/tranny mounts, new brakes including all lines and hoses, new master cylinder, four new wheel cylinders. Rebuilt steering box and drag link with original re-painted steering wheel. Original rear bumperettes, repro. pintle hook. 5 new 6×16 6 Ply NDT tires on brand new combat rims. Tranny and transfer case real strong and work properly. Clutch does sometime keep from going into first, but will if you wiggle the shifter.

Engine: Runs strong and smooth, minor smoke at start up, relatively quiet engine, no misses. New Solex Carburetor , new fuel pump, rebuilt manifolds and new gaskets, new 12 volt alternator, new coil, new wiring, new battery, new hoses, new belts, new 180 degree t-stat, new temp. gauge, new ammeter, new fuel gauge and sender, new fuel lines, new plugs and wires. Brand new reproduction radiator and new cap.

Body: Bensinger MD Juan MB body kit; new tub, fenders, grille, windshield including new glass, new wipers, hood, seats, new fuel tank, new top bows, brackets and hardware, new canvas seats and top (Canvas is Beachwood and WEE BEE Webbing canvas), repro. shovel and axe, original 1945 dated Wheeling gas can, repro. water bucket, rebuilt authentic blackout lights, new headlights and tail-lights, repro data plates.

Misc: All new electrics, all new gauges, all lights, all new switches work properly. Brake tail lights do tend to stick on occasion.”

1953 M-38A1 Norfolk, VA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: M-38A1 • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500

“Up for sale is an authentic 1953 M38A1 military jeep. These jeeps are the models for the civilian CJ5 model but are much more robust. Brakes, 4cyl stock engine and basic lights (headlights, tailights and brake lights) all work. Body in very good shape with no rust. Steering is unusually tight for age as it must not have been driven much. Engine runs smoothly with no major issues (although it takes a while to warm up sometimes). 4×4 works perfectly. Overall functional m38a1 jeep in good shape.”

1948 CJ-2A Benson, NC $900

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Here’s a column shift chassis.  I suspect it may have been a ’46 rather than a ’48.

“1948 willis J2A, This was a 3 speed column shift, With power take off to the rear. It has a Hyd. pump and front lift. Its a 3 speed 4 wheel drive with Hi and Low drive. The unit was running when the body was removed and built into a Roadster drag car,? The chassis is complete, it all turns, rolls, levers shift. I do have a new willis service manual to go with it. The guy I bought it from assured me it was running and working when His son and friends decided to build a hot rod out of the body. I have bought from Lenny before and never had a problem. This is a very rare piece. They were built to farm with after the war. Just got too many projects”

1969 Nissan Patrol Eagle River, AK **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Other 4x4s This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was $1000. **SOLD**

If parted out, this might indeed be worth a small fortune if you think around $1000 is a small fortune.

“for the people who collect these ive been told that if i parted it out it would be worth a small fortune, but i want to sell the whole thing quickly so lets deal…..it ran and drove to where it was parked sat a few years brake pedle goes to floor has twin stick t/case 4 litre straight 6 inline engine some spare parts in back picture makes it look good but it does have rust. all parts are there except door glass. neat old rig a lot of people get it confused with a land rover but it is a nissan patrol. its about the size of a CJ 5 but a little wider so its not tippy, they were used by militaries all around the world until fairly recently they were still made. there is a title for this. i really wish i could keep this but you can see the willys in the background of one picture and that is the project im working on now.”
