Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/26/09) “3 Year old restoration 125 miles on restoration, new tires, brakes, engine rebuild, carb, everything works, PTO, 4 Wheel Drive, 3 speed on the collumn. Its a early CJ2A before they went to 3 speed on the floor. i have the TITLE easy to register and insure its cheep. fun to drive gets looks all the time. must sell $10,000.00 ”

(11/07/2009) It sounds like it is in good mechanical shape.
“1947 Cj 2A. I’ve owned and had this registered and on the road since 1992.Original 4 cl GO DEVIL engine. The engine was rebuilt three years ago. The body was done last year. The body/floors are solid. I have a fully enclosed soft top that isn’t pictured. Everything that wore out over the years has been replaced. It looks to have app 68,000 miles on it. I have never plowed the Willys. The Willys needs nothing. I’l only selling it because I don’t put many miles on it ( less than 200 per year). email with questions. $10, 000 or best reasonable offer”

“1942 Willys GPW Jeep. Rebuilt Chevy 283 V8 3 speed. Rebuilt transmission and transfer case. Hardly been driven since rebuild. Has new shocks, brakes, drums, power steering, ignition switch and tilt wheel. Very strong and very fast and fun for anything!!”
UPDATE: New pic with updated paint. Price raised to $14,500.
