1963 FC-150 Bastrop, TX **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.

(03/09/2012) It looks solid, though it could use some polish.

“1963 Willys Jeep FC-150

This is a rare cab-over style Forward Control Jeep with a 2.3 liter F-head 4-cylinder engine, 3-speed T-90 manual transmission, and two-speed T-18 transfer case. I have a clear Texas title in my name. These unusual trucks draw a lot of attention.

The engine and transfer case have seen no use since being rebuilt and they are out of the vehicle, along with the gearbox (which has not been rebuilt). Radiator is rebuilt. This truck was sold new in the Phoenix, AZ area and remained there with the original owner’s family until I brought it to central Texas about three years ago, so body corrosion is minimal. Brakes are rebuilt with no miles on them. All window glass is good. Comes with new hoses, wiring harness, clutch, pressure plate, brakes, a spare set of doors, rear window glass, bare cylinder head, spare disassembled 3-speed gear box, vacuum brake servo, plus various extra pieces of trim and small mechanical items.

I had begun restoring it but got interrupted shortly after starting the process and I now realize it will be years before I can get back to it. This is an opportunity to do an easy restoration on a very simple vehicle and end up with a rare and prized vehicle at a budget price. Photos in this ad do not show that rear fenders are removed (stored in bed of truck) and that I had begun to remove excessive body filler in both front doors.

You can research this type of vehicle via several websites but the best place to start is probably: www.thefcconnection.com/

Most of these trucks were sold in the snow belt or to government or road construction companies, so most of the survivors are severely rusted or simply were badly abused. Keep this in mind if you are thinking about bidding on one of these on eBay.

Price for vehicle, as is: $5500.00 Vehicle is located east of Austin, a few miles past the Bastrop County line near Utley.

I have other Jeep parts I wish to sell separately:”

1951 CJ-3a Spokane Valley, WA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Was $3000. **SOLD**

(07/25/2012) The seller provides some good details on the condition.  It needs a few things to run.

“Just testing the waters with this.

The good:
It’s a 1951 CJ3A, has a title.
SOA Lift, Saginaw steering swap.
Has a 1964 Small Block Ford 289.
Chevy steering column
Rear fenderwells are modified to fit modern seats, comfortable sit in.
Dana 44 rear, Dana 27 front. Both from a scout 80/800.
Front disk brakes using Scout II rotors, GM calipers, etc.
Aluminum rims with 31×10.5xR15 tires, with 50% tread left
Converted to disk brakes, and hydraulic clutch.
Has a working speedometer, voltmeter, temp gauge, etc.
Brand new wiring harness front to rear.
Fully wired, blinkers, brakes, headlights. Has a 12 fuse fuseblock, with about 8 unused connections for various things.
Rebuilt Autolite 2100 carburetor. Engine runs amazingly well. The engine alone is worth 1500.
Drives perfect down the road, as in, you can take your hands off the wheel and it’ll track straight.

What it needs to be complete:
A new brake booster.
A better radiator, or a fan shroud to be made (gets hot, doesn’t overheat, gauge might be incorrect)
A fuel cell (purchased one on Ebay, still waiting, RCI 19 gallon aluminum fuel cell)
It’s currently registered as a classic (Horse drawn carriage, in WA state). I don’t have a set of plates for it, so it’s technically not legal to drive it on the road. In order to get it legal to drive on the road, you just need to go to the DOL, and you can get it registered as a normal car or truck. You’ll pay the taxes for the sale price on the jeep for the registration, then you’ll pay the tag and license plate fees (not sure on this). There won’t be any obscene paperwork, and no B.S.

The bad:
The body has “questionable” amounts of bondo, and rust.
The front fenders are some fold-forward setup that doesn’t line up very well.
Engine has a tendency to get warm. The brake booster and Master cylinder that came with it are shot, the booster is bad, and the MC seals are toast. Could be easily replaced from JY, and if somebody is seriously interested in purchasing this, i will gladly tell you the make/model of vehicle you can get the setup off of.

Reason i’m selling:
The funding isn’t really there. I’m a college student, and my budget is getting stretched pretty thin. As of recent events, i’m in the market for a new(er) truck. I just don’t have the time and money to give to this thing to make it what it could be, and i would love to see somebody who has the devotion take it off my hands and turn it into something much nicer than what it currently is.”

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $2500.

(04/24/2012) I like the vintage look of ‘Wirick’s’.  Given it doesn’t runs, the price is a bit high.

“Selling my 1956? Willys jeep. MUST SELL!
Asking $2500/obo. Very little rust.
Easiest to come look at it. It hasn’t ran for a while…don’t think it would take much to get it running.
Great project!”

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Price dropped to $3000

(02/13/2012) One runs and one is a parts vehicle.

“I’ve got two Willys Jeep Station Wagons for sale. I’d like to sell them as a package for $3500. The ’57 (red) runs, the ’58 (green) was bought as a parts car but there is enough extra parts to build it also. If you’re looking for a project with real classic looks, this could be it! Both are Hurricane flathead 6cyl, with 3spd tranny, 4WD and I’ve got the transferrable registrations for both in my name. I’ve just got too much on my plate, so I need to deplete the fleet a little. If interested, Call Joe at (516) 996-6820”

1943 GPW Klamath Falls, OR **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was on eBay.

The seller also has a few more things, such as 5 combat rims for $500, that he will sell to the winner of this auction.

“Offered to the highest bidder, this WWII-era Ford manufacturered GPW 1/4t Utility Vehicle (JEEP) serial number 125,686 with a build date of 7 June 1943.  Perfectly restorable tub and frame with the complete running gear from the transmission back along with plenty of “F” marked parts.  The serial numbers of the tub and frame match along with the title so all that’s missing is the original motor.  The front floor and lower firewall to include the axe patch , radio junction box and the radiator crossmember need replacement but from the machine gun mount back it’s sold including the hatchannels, tool box wells and back bumper.  I have not inspected the transmission, transfercase or drive lines and pumpkins for functionality but I assume they will clean up nicely once all the road debris and accumulation of grease and dirt has been wire-wheeled off.”
