Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/27/2012) This has a few unusual features. Check out the direction of the claws under the rear bumper. Those could cause some problems on difficult terrain. It also has some neat windshield clamps. I suspect the seller means ‘muncie’ 4 speed and not ‘monkey’ 4 speed. There are many pics of this on eBay.

The exterior of this vehicle looks good. the body is staight and the paint is new. the aftermarket chrome rims really make the vehicle stand out. these trucks are very simple so please see the additional pictures for further details.
THE INTERIOR LOOKS GREAT! The Interior is Very clean, It Comes with 2 Storage boxes that can be locked, All the Gauges work well, the seats Come as a Gray Vinyl/Leather look that are in perfect condition with the exception of the passenger side where there is a slight rip on the top of the seat. The Vinyl Soft Top is also included with the Jeep and is in working condition. The radio works as well. The Willys is Titled as a 1946 Willy JP, on the Vehicle itself it has a Plate by Willys Overland Motors CJ-2A, number 24996, the vehicle also has aftermarket chrome rims with newer tires and a tow hitch for trailoring.
MECHANICALLY THIS TRUCK is great. although we have not taking the vehicle off road the vehicle did great on our test drive. the motor runs like a top and shifts effortlessly through the gears.”

The fuel pump is having a problem. Looks pretty stock.
“I have an all-original 1954 Willy’s Jeep for sale. Uncut, unmodified in any way. If you are looking for a 100% original Willy’s this is it! This Jeep runs and drives. However, the fuel pump is a little weak. I am working on that right now. The minimal rust it has is very fixable. This Jeep has factory “Koenic Iron Works” hardtop and hard doors. Door windows roll up and down. This jeep is unmolested- from the period fire extinguisher, to the fan in the cabin. I even have the owners manual. The mileage is original at 44,000. I bought this from the original owners son. This is a fantastic original specimen and a very rare find considering the hardtop and harddoors. I ran across this unusual Controurtop Hardtop in an ad from the April 1967 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine. I’ve never seen one of these for sale on Craigslist.
This “Topless Top” article appeared in the March 1966 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine. Given the top was made of plexiglass, I suspect it is unlikely there are many remaining (if any). I have bid on the issue, so I hope to have better images and more information if/when I win it.
Dan spotted this nice looking, stock wagon. It’s listed as a 1959 Wagon in the title of the AD and a 1958 Wagon in the body of the ad.
