Whatever it is, it wasn’t done that well. But, since it’s odd, it is here.
” Up for auction One frosted beer bottle ..The bottle is a amber ” BUD LIGHT ” beer bottle. It has ” Willys Jeepster ” frosted into It below ” BUD LIGHT “. Above it on the neck is ” B L “. It is about 9 inchs tall and a screw cap top.”
UPDATE: I bought one of these from this seller. It was in great shape.
Here is another “Jeep in Industry” Brochure for sale. The picture below is from a previous auction. (the one for sale does NOT have the writing on it like the pic below).
This poor MB/GPW has seen some tough duty!
“What a neat outfix,I turned the motor by hand, levers work on the trencher, will not find many of these. The glovebox has 3 brass tags on it could not get a good picture.Thank you”
The seller spent time refurbishing this USMC M-170.
“for sale is a 1962 willys m170 or mda.
this rig was decommisioned in 1978 from the USMC.
i rescued this vehicle from oblivion in 2005. it had been sitting in the sierra nevadas under pine needles for 25 years.
i brought it home and went to work.
i went through the vehicle nose to tail, but here are the highlights…
the original f-head motor has been professionally rebuilt and runs as well as it will with the carter ys carb.
i rebuilt the t90 3-speed and dana18 transfer case and they both work great.
i built a custom wiring harness and did a 12volt conversion(pertronix distributor, one-wire alternator, lights and gauges)
i completely replaced the braking system, master cylinder to the shoes.
it currently has 5ea. 31×10.50 street tires on 15×8 american racing wheels. i also have 5ea.original willys rims for NDT tires.
i did not have the ability or the room to take the body off the frame.
they only made approximately 12,000 of these. one run in the mid ’50’s, then again in the early ’60’s.
i shudder to think how much money i’ve dumped into this thing. but i don’t have the time or space to finish what i had planned.
i’ve got well over 10grand into her. i’d like to get around $4000, but no reasonable offer will be refused.
i will add a couple of more pictures soon.
thanks for looking.
buyer responsible for shipping.”
UPDATE: This was at $4200. Now on eBay

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6800.
This looks like a solid rig.
“I have a 1954 Willys Jeep! This Jeep has had the entire Chevy small block 350 rebuilt.
Brand new tires and rims. This Jeep is a hard one to find! Most of the work is done. The body is very straight and no rust!! This Jeep would make an excellent Rock crawler, Hunting machine, or an everyday driver. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $18,000.
This includes the Fording system.
“Original condition, Fording system, Tow Bar, Military Radio, M-1 rifle rack, overdrive. 98% original. More pics.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2795.
(01/10/2013) This needs brakes. It’s listed as a 1968, but the dash suggests this is a pre 1956 model.
“CJ3B I AM NOT SURE OF THE YEAR, JEEP HAS HAD A FRAME ON RESTO. THIS IS A DRIVER NOT A SHOW JEEP. MOTOR RUNS STRONG ALL GEARS WORK HIGH AND LOW.
I REPLACED MOST OF THE BAD BODY PARTS. THE TIRES HAVE NEW TUBES BUT ARE OLD. THEY WILL WORK FINE FOR OFF ROAD USE. JEEP DOES NOT HAVE BRAKES I STOPED WORKING ON IT TO BE ABLE TO SELL AT LOW PRICE. YOU WILL NEED TO TRAILER. NO TEX MESSAGES I AM TOO OLD FOR TEXING”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
This runs most days, but does need some things fixed. The top looks in great shape,
“Looking to sell my 1973 CJ-6. Like the CJ5, but 20” inches longer for more capacity/capability. Has 304 AMC V8, runs. 3 speed on floor. Dana 44 rear. Motorcraft 2bbl Carb was rebuilt and vehicle started/ran reliably before it was put in storage 10 years ago. Steel doors and hard top in good condition for age with minimal rust. Brand new Rancho stock height leaf springs on all 4 corners. 4 corner man-power drum brakes, and power by armstrong steering. This Jeep is a survivor. The body is straight and worth repairing/repainting/restoring. No title, and i have no plans to get one, i will, however, write a bill of sale. NH title will work if you want to make this truck road legal. Make no mistake, this is a PROJECT Vehicle. I am asking $2,500 to get what i have in it, although i am willing to negotiate a little, but please, no offensive offers! they only made 50k of these from 1955 to 1975, and 95% have been scrapped or wrecked. Very few remain. The Gipper had one as his ranch jeep. Search these jeeps on the interwebs and see what people are doing to them to make them cool, capable offroaders. I also know what they are worth, both unrestored and restored. I am just out of ambition with 10 other projects looming…This could be your next project!
Needs the following: Distributor acts up, sometimes it allows the truck to run, other times it doesn’t, easy fix im sure. Transfer case stuck in 4HI. Needs miscellaneous body mounts and perhaps some hat channels (typical for these CJ’s). Needs tires and wheels, but if you are building a custom jeep, this is the least of your concern. Im sure there are other things i am forgetting.
