“Small displacement chrysler V8 engine . These were in production from 1956 until 1963. There arent many that have survived. This is the only rust free example i have ever seen. I have the complete history for this truck. It has been in the central valley of California since it was new. Complete truck running with a few new parts in boxes.”

1943 GPW Orlando, FL **Status Unknown**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was $9500. **Status Unknown**

This has a Buick V6 in it.

“This is an original World War II Ford GPW (Willy’s MB) Jeep. The ford serial number is 94524 and was delivered to the U.S. Government on 1-21-43 (January 21st, 1943). The Army issue number is 20202246. It has been generally restored top to bottom, runs perfectly, and is mostly comprised of original parts. It has clear current title, starts with ease, runs beautifully and is simply a pleasure to both own and drive.

I originally discovered the Jeep in New Mexico several years ago. The tub and majority of the parts had little to no rust when I had the jeep sand blasted. Of particular note is that both the original WWII frame and original WWII data plate have the matching serial numbers 94524 (the frame stamp is faded but can still be read). Additionally, the tub (body) is genuine WWII manufactured by Ford with various “F” stamps throughout the body which add to its uniqueness.

Here is a rundown of his work I had done- It has a new battery, new gauges, brakes totally taken apart cleaned, inspected and rebuilt, brake lines, fuel lines, oil lines and wiring harness were all replaced with the best available in the last several years. Most of the Jeep was dismantled, stripped, repaired where needed, repainted and re-assembled. I did not remove the motor or transmission. The tires are vintage reproduction and correct to period. I added saftey belts and turn signals for safety.

The engine is a post war 70’s engine which I actually prefer as these engines are far more reliable and easier to maintain. I purposely did not replace the engine with a reproduction for I wanted to travel more than 45 MPH. The originals only traveled that fast and were shaking apart at that. I can easily merge with traffic and travel on the highway at 60-70 MPH with no problems.

Additional accessories include-

-U.S. WWII full Size Infantry Axe
-Original U.S. WWII dated gasoline can
-Garand/Thompson rifle rack on inside of windshield.
-New old Stock Side straps

There may be other WWII Jeeps on the market but very few that run as well and have as many authentic vintage parts. The Jeep was in service until 1957 where it was sold at auction. The Jeep has some changes to it as made at the TMP since it served during the Korean War era as well. I have the advertisement where it was sold in Texas. If you ever wanted a WW2 Jeep this is the one!”

1947 CJ-2A Bailey, CO **Status Unknown**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was $3850. **Status Unknown**

(10/28/2013) The Studebaker motor looks good in there.

“Very solid classically modified Willys CJ-2A, loaded with after market accessories.

I have owned this jeep for several years and lightly used it around my property. I picked it up in Salt Lake City from the son of the man who had owned it most of it’s life. He had used it for hunting and just tooling around in his retirement, in Arizona. He had purchased the Jeep from a family friend where it started it’s life, in Wyoming. Due to the Jeep’s life in dry climates, it remains very solid.

The Jeep was classically modified many years ago to give it more power. As was common in the 50’s, it had it’s motor replaced with a Studebaker Champion 6 Cyl for a boost in power. That engine remains and is a strong and solid runner. It does seem to need some carburetor work right now. It starts well and runs well but is a bit finicky getting the revs up. Once there, it cruises well. The only other real issue with the Jeep is the radiator has a few small leaks and has to be watched.

The Jeep is a classic example of a Jeep modified to meet the owner’s quirks through the addition of some Willys options and aftermarket accessories.

-It has two heaters in it (one for each side)
-It has mounting hardware for a soft top
-It had a special spare carrier mounted on the tailgate (removed and still have)
-It has a 6/12 volt radio
-It has an ash tray mounted in the dash
-It has turn signals
-It has heavy duty home made bumpers
-It had a folding game reck welded to the rear bumper (removed and still have)
-It had a gun rack mounted between the seats (removed and still have)
-It has a brake booster
-It has 16″ wheels (15″ was standard)
-It has lockout front hubs
-It has a welded rear end to give true 4wd capability
-It has a removable tow bar for 2″ hitch
-The coolest and rarest feature on the Jeep is a PTO driven winch, which works great and is very handy

The Jeep is very solid and with someone who can address the carburetor issue, will be a good strong vehicle for years to come.”

Trailer Boston, MA $120

• CATEGORIES: trailer This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

The price is low. Unclear how much value his here.

“I have a Willys Jeep trailer from the 50’s or 60’s it is the civilian model not the military one. It would be good for parts or restoration, let me stress that fact. It would need some welding and body work to make it nice again or you could use it for parts, it has good 16 in rims and the trailer landing gear. I do not have the tailgate for it. Make an offer I have no use for the trailer so i would like to see a jeep guy get it and do something with it. If you are interested email me a number i can reach you at, no number no response, just avoiding scams and other bs, thanks for looking.”
