Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks nice. The drain holes appear filled. The grille looks later than a ’46 and the windshield frame might be aftermarket or modified.

This looks nice and straight.
“Willys project truck, this truck has a lot of work done to it already. All new wiring, chevy V6 TH350 transmission out of 70’s Chevy pick up, as well as a late 70’s Chevy rear end. It also has a new fuel tank, new heater, and it was painted a few years ago. There is still work to be done to this truck, I was going to put a Wagoneer front axle to match the Chevy rear end or you could also put a Ford 9″ rear end to match the front axle. The passenger and driver side windows have cracks in them. The truck runs and drives good, it also looks good, but does have some waves in the body. It is not a show truck. This would be a great truck to finish from where I got burnt out at, it won’t take much work to finish this truck, or it could be enjoyed how it is now. Please e-mail for more information. This looks like an old race jeep to me.
“Old willies race jeep, I think it’s a 1946. No motor or trans. Has a good solid roll cage. Frame has been patched may times, tub is in decent shape, front end is just setting on its not wrecked. $300 obo.”

“Nice Bantam TC-3, (probably 1947 by serial #) licensed, all lights work, spare tire and mount, tail gate works, 2″ hitch mount, steel plate in bed, no rust holes, the wheels are 15″ CJ5. I have the original Bantam plate with the serial number. I also have the original top bows for an additional $250.00. Trailer is ready to use or restore to original.
