UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
(12/13/2014) Both are projects.
“I have two Willys FC170’s for sale. I would also consider trading even for a J series pickup truck or a toyota 4×4 truck. I have 3 of these forward controls and I have come to realize I will never fix up all 3 of them. I am keeping the one I have the most money and time in and letting the other 2 go. They are projects and I have not messed with either of them or tried to get them running. They are both fairly complete with enough to make one complete truck if you combined the two easily. The orange truck is in really nice shape body wise (if I had got it first I would have used it as it is worlds better than what I am working with). The green truck has some body damage but its not very rusty either. Both are flathead 6 with the t90 three speeds and dana18 transfer cases. Green one is 1959 and Orange is a 1960.”
UPDATE: Still Available
The CJ-2A looks in good shape. It may go quickly. It is priced at $5,580, but you can also make an offer.
“Great running and fun to drive. Has current tags and inspection sticker. This jeep has been completely gone thru mechanically in 2013. Over $3500 spent in 2013. All new brake system in 2013. All wiring redone throughout for lighting and brakes. All guages working perfectly.
Transmission works in all low and hi settings. Engine runs very good and starts on first try. New battery installed in Jan 2014. Please call 214.802.6624 with questions.
Can provide more pictures as requested. Can ship anywhere in the USA.”
These photos appear to have come from this Danish website: http://www.armyvehicles.dk. It took some searching to find them.
Charles sent this as well. I can’t remember if I’ve posted this before or not, but it’s worth a repost:
The envelope is ripped, but the picture is great. It looks a lot like a slat grille.
“For sale is an envelope that would have been used for a soldier’s correspondence during World War II. It features a cartoon of a soldier driving a jeep. This item is copyright 1942 by Porto-Server of Chicago. The graphics are great; the envelopehas been torn at the end opposite the cartoon.”
I’ve seen these in chrome, but never in gold.
“Gold Jeep vintage ashtray in excellent condition. $85.00 OBO.”
A friend of mine is looking for the following hard-to-find parts for his farm jeep. He’s a serious buyer, but not real good with the internet, so has asked if I would help him try to find them. He’s willing to pay for shipping (using Uship) from anywhere in the US.
– Newgren lift
– Newgren single plow (or any other implements with tag)
– dual wheel adapters
– Koenig pto twin stick (50 & 58)
– Koenig half cab (complete and with tag)
Email me if you have something dave @ ewillys.com
