Nonrunning project.
“ bought several of these cool, pug-nosed Willys Jeep FC170s, FC150s and a BUNCH of related parts to get the stuff I want/need for my own project. This one is rough, but in my opinion, restorable. I’ll sell this truck complete (with title), or will consider selling parts for the right price.
This is considered a 3/4-ton pick-up with a Dana 44 closed-knuckle front axle, and a Dana 53 rear axle. The truck rolls free (axles/brakes are NOT locked up), and the drivetrain (engine/transmission/transfer case) is still installed, although I have no idea as to the mechanical condition. Engine is the Super Hurricane inline 6-cylinder mated to a T90 3-speed manual trans.
The frame looks good on this truck, and the cab appears to be repairable, although it’s arguably rough (common for Midwest vehicles of this vintage). Someone retrofitted what appears to be a ’50s GM dash into the truck, and did a pretty good job doing so. If you’d prefer to go back to a stock dash set-up, I have interior parts available.
NOTE: Parts in the rear of the truck will be cleaned up before it’s sold.
I have a few FC170 vehicles available, along with a nice FC170 rolling frame, a couple FC cabs (one FC170, and one FC150), and lots of parts. If you’re looking for a custom project, consider putting one of these classic FC cabs on a late-model chassis, much like I’m doing with my project: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/jeep-non-hardcore/1558953-jeep-fc170-patina-rod-mutt.html

Andy Brown forwarded this great photo in Normandy outside the tank museum near Carentan. Andy notes they were expecting over 200 jeeps at the event.
