The Tri City Military Vehicle Club was out playing in the dunes with their jeeps this past weekend. These dunes are just a few minutes from our place in Pasco, Washington. I’m hoping to get Biscuit there at some point.

This is framed and under glass.
“The poster is a “Plaistow Pictorial – Fact Sheet Number 17” and appears to be in very good condition. It is encased beneath glass and is mounted in a wood frame. The frame has a few minor blemishes. The poster shows images of various Jeeps from 1940 through 1986. It also depicts the “Anatomy of the War time Jeep” and has a narrative of the history of the Jeep. 1946 CJ-2A Palmetto, GA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
I just did a post about this zoo jeep a few days ago. Now, you can own it!
“FOR SALE is a 1946 Willys CJ-2A jeep with an interesting history. This came from the North Carolina Zoo in Ashboro, N.C. It was a featured exhibit there for a number of years. It was in front of the dinosaur exhibit. The zoo rotated it out of the exhibit and sold it to a zoo employee who I bought it from. The body is 100% Perfect without even a pinhole of rust. I was told that the zoo spent $4000.00 having it restored prior to exhibiting it. It needs some love now to restore it to it’s former glory but it would be a worthwhile project.”
1952 M-38A1 Jackson, MI $5000
Looks good.
“For sale is a 1952 Willys Jeep M-38 A1 Military version.
Runs and drives great.”
1946 CJ-2A + Parts Jeeps De Soto, MO **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500
The only photo is of the CJ-2A. There’s a CJ-3A and MB parts jeep, too.
“I have decided to get out of the old Jeep hobby and sell all of my remaining vehicles and parts. I will attempt to sell everything to one buyer first and if no singe buyer emerges I will list everything separate.
I have:
1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A,
L-134 flathead 4 cylinder with less than 2000 miles on rebuild, Solex carb, Petronix ignition and 12 volt conversion. T90/18 trans and transfer case, Dana 44 rear. Body was taken off frame and repaired with pop riveted sheet metal. Floor boards and hat channels were replaced along with tool compartment floor. The Jeep is not original in anyway but is period correct. Nothing on this Jeep came on a 1946 Jeep. The windshield frame is off a 1942 GPW, the hood off a 49, body tub somewhere around 1950, engine is late 40’s or early 50’s, transfer case and transmission are earlier pieces with equal length handles, etc. It has been rebuilt dozens of times over its life.
Paint is rattle can and looks like it, but the body is very solid.
New gauges except fuel, no fuel gauge in vehicle. Tail lights are new and headlights and marker lights work. No turn signals, horn, or wipers. No top.
1948 CJ-2A Surrey, Canada $14,000
Ron spotted this nice looking jeep for sale.

“This is a 1948 Willys M38. Identical to the CJ2A except the battery is accessed thru the cowl rather than under the hood, the 2 little dimples under the passenger door where the shovel and axe were mounted, and the “full floater” rear differential. (In this case equipped with Warn hubs at all 4 corners.
Buick “odd-fire” 225 V-6 has 1500 miles on a complete rebuild. It has an Offenhauser hirise with a mini Holley 4 Barrel with electronic choke. Chrome fenderwell headers.
All the following has 1000 miles:
-new brake and clutch master cylinder.
-4 new wheel cylinders.
-Bestop soft top & doors.

1947 CJ-2A Harrisburg, PA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Looks good, but needs a little work.
“Looking to trade a running and driving 1947 CJ2A. The jeep has been in the family for 25 years and has been cared after. Brakes are all new. Carb is freshly rebuilt. Run’s great. Body has bondo in it – this was only meant to be a driver – not a show winner. Though it does look great going down the road. Has aftermarket seats which are really comfortable for those longer trips.
I’m looking to trade a jeep for a jeep. I would like a CJ-7 that may need some TLC, but passes a PA inspection. Rust does not scare me…but please do not waste my time. Please text or email me what you have and lets work something out.”
1951 CJ-3A Houston, TX **Status Unknown**
UPDATE: **Status Unknown**. Was $8500
“This is your chance to own a piece of Americana! This post war jeep will give you endless fun on or off the road. Always meticulously taken care off, this jeep has flawless paint and interior. The seats have all been recently repadded and recovered. All of the instruments are new, as well as all of the lights. The carbouretor was rebuilt this month along with a new fuel plus vacuum pump. An oil change is always preformed every 250 miles. The engine is in top shape, it faithfully starts every time with no hesitation. I really hate to see it go, but I am trying to raise money for college. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.”
