Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Restored 1962 .Willys Jeep Truck. 4 wheel drive with lockout hubs. Hurricane 6 engine 3 speed hi lo range. Refurbished gas tank and transfer case. Repainted original color. Original seats and interior. Beautiful shape. also included Western hydro turn plow.”

(09/20/2014) Runs and drives. Has some floor patches.
“1944 Ford gpw military jeep. The jeep runs and drives good, It has 4 new military tires on 4 original combat wheels. It is a gpw motor. The fuel tank is original and has been taken out and professionally redone. I believe the top is also original to the jeep. All the lights work 4 wheel drive works and brakes are good too. It still has the wood in the hat channels but they are rusted. Windsheild is extremely nice. The motor is still 6 volt and is original. It has rust where tool indentions are(see pics). The starter is not that old. It does have a heater but they cut a small hole in the dash to do it though, not to bad of a fix. It has a clear Missouri title.”

The windshield has an interesting mod. Lots of diamond plate.
“Replaced orig Flathead 4 eng with rebuilt 1973 Ford Pinto 2.0 L engine, and has orig 3 spd transmission and 2 spd transfer case. Has a 1500 lb wench on front bumper, and a full canvas top. Comes with a homebuilt 5X10 ft trailer for towing the Jeep or hauling trash to the dump. Used as a hunting rig until quads bought in 2002. Used to move toys around after that.
