Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1943 Ford WWII GPW Jeep
Frame Number: GPW 125688
Engine Number: GPW 12309
This GPW runs, drives and stops. And has many “F” marked parts on it. It is using a Willys head on the GPW block. You do not find a matching number frame and block like this jeep. Has lock out hubs on the front axle for smother driving.”

Looks like a great price on a sears aluminum full top. Top seems in good condition. Jeep is not for sale.

“I have this 1948 jeep willys cj2a with tx title
I was trying to unlock the motor n seen the cylinder wall is cracked so it will need a engine or sbc 350 swap or Buick v6 I’ve seen on the Internet that’s what they do as a substitute.
All the original engine parts are accounted for on the table along with a fuel cell
The tow bar takes a 2 in tow ball and the tires hold air
I wanted to make a project out of it but have decided to cash out.”
