Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Equipped with a chevy 4.3 TBI engine, 3 speed shuttle shift transmission, Twin stick Dana 20 transfercase and a Dana 44 rearend. The frame is solid, it has a rollbar, the half cab and aluminum diamond plate clad body make this a one of a kind vehicle. I haven’t driven it in 2 years so it is out of inspection, I believe all it will need is a brake master cylinder”

“1946 Willy’s Jeep 4WD. Kept and used @ hunting camp only. Kept under leantoo for years. Brought home to restore but lost interest. Runs GREAT. I made a list of most items needed to restore, ordered and received. All still in boxes. (wiper blade, wiper motor, turn signal switch and harness, top, etc)
Sent to repair shop and had new master and wheel cylinders installed for breakes, tuned up and new battery.
Jeep needs TLC and a home and I need to recover some of my cost. Have original paperwork.”
