12th Annual FC Roundup March 27-29th

• CATEGORIES: Event, Features This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Don’t forget that next weekend is the FC Roundup. We’d planned on attending, but had to change our plans this week.

The 2015 Jeep FC Roundup will be held March 27-29. Unfortunately, one great FC guy who won’t be able to attend is Troy Fry, who passed away in September. You might remember the amazing work Troy did on his orange and white FC (check out his build photos here). He was an all-around nice guy and will be missed.

If you have any questions about this year’s Roundup, email Jesse Ybarra at m677@cs.com.

This is your personal invitation to another “Most Excellent” FC-Only event in Phoenix, Arizona. Andrea and I, invite all FC Owners and friends of Jeep Forward Controls and Jeep Fleet Vans, to come to see FC and FleetVan Jeeps, meet with other FC-Owners. We invite you, with or without your Jeep Forward Control or FleetVan. This is where you will always see some of the best authentic and original restored, ongoing projects and modified FCs and FleetVans.

Parking on my property is for FCs and FleetVans only, all other vehicles must park on the street. Learn a lot in a weekend, see how other FCs and FleetVans look and run, take detailed pictures, talk to other owners. Bring your FC items, toys, memorabilia, photos, artwork, literature, and manuals to display. See new FC related products and and parts, special tools will also be on display. FC Roundup event hats, T-shirts, will also be available.

There is no charge for the event. We welcome and we are always so very grateful for your donation of any FC related items that are given away during the Saturday afternoon free raffle. Also on Saturday are the large BBQ Hot Dogs and much more, for lunch. Free refreshments anytime.

One of the best things that happens everyday, is that you are also invited to drive your FC / FleetVan or you might ride in an FC Tour Jeep, we have FC-Only groups that cruise to and from breakfast and dinner.

The HOTEL 502, it is a few blocks away, near the lightrail. (N0TICE THE NAME HAS BEEN CHANGED, IT WAS THE CAMELBACK / SAHARA / Hotel 502 LAST YEAR)

We offer transportation to and from the West bound light rail that connects directly to Phoenix International Airport. Arrangements have been made again, for the same optional 24 hr security parking, for offstreet overflow of Haulers and trailers to park for the weekend again during the Phoenix Swapmeet at the County Fairgrounds.

1957 Truck and 1962 Tow Truck Antioch, IL **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Trucks • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This auction is for two trucks. The ’57 is apart, but has a title, while the tow truck doesn’t have a title.

“Auction is for a 1957 Willys Pickup, with clear title, that is in pieces however you will receive at no additional cost a Really cool Willys Pickup/Tow Truck. This is a project that needs some finishing touches however most of the heavy lifting is already done. Pretty solid however the cab has had some repairs that are less than perfect. Serial number for the Tow Truck is 55268 70575. Most of what I did was major mechanical…new timing chain and gears, new electronic distributor, rebuilt carburetor, new clutch and pressure plate with turned flywheel, new speedometer cable.

* used some parts from a 1957 pickup that will also be included in the sale, specifically the T-90 trans and cross member as well as the wiper motor. Truck runs great, clutch is smooth as silk. Needs new front windshield, tail lights and other minor finishing touches. This is as close to original as it gets…she isn’t fast and drives like she’s 50 years old but it is really cool. You will receive clear title for the 1957 and all remaining parts from the 57..cab, frame, axles, etc. The Ramsey pto isn’t hooked up but is included as well as the drive shaft to the winch. Front pusher bumper and plow included. The plow pump needs an adjustment to the check valve as it doesn’t always stay up. You will also receive a brand new radiator and plastic gas tank however the ones in the truck are fine. Buyer could use the Tow Truck as parts Truck to refurbish the 1957…just a thought.”

1957 FC-150 Pinellas Park, FL **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000

Runs and drives. Is a very early FC.

“For sale 1957 Willys Jeep Forward Control FC-150 4X4 cab over pickup truck. I bought this original Fc-150 over ten years ago with the intention of restoring it. I simply have too many projects to get around to it. It has been stored indoors every since I bought it. The Jeep will run and drive but I stopped driving it due to the poor condition of the tires and brakes. Includes spare sheet metal parts including lower cab corners, spare door, remains of the original bed and more. This is the lowest known serial number on the Forward Control Registry! This is a rare model Jeep and I had to go to New Hampshire to get this one. I will only sell it to someone that has the plans and the means to restore it. If you want to build a swamp buggy go find an old wrangler! There is some rust in the lower cab corners but nothing that cannot be fixed. Get real this truck is 58 years old and is a project! The rest of the cab including the rain gutters are in good condition. I have a Florida little for it. I hate to see it go but I will only sell it to someone who is gone actually restore it…. Not stick it in a field to rot away or butcher it up… I’d rather keep it!”
