“Farm fresh 1947 willys cj2a, engine turns over but doesn’t start, head lights work, has been converted to 12 volt, military tires”
Dave you big silly, that holds his windshield off of the hood! Maybe? Good guess though…he’s got a hydraulic pump under the hood for something. Something is up with that windshield frame, doest quite look proportional. It has great patina though…
That windshield frame is all sorts of goofy.
I like this. Good price, looks fairly complete, nice patina. A decent start for somebody.
Dave, I think that hood item is an antenna which indicates it has the rare Willy’s OnStar system that notifies the dealer when all the leaking fluids need to be replenished.
You’ll want OnStar if you are driving this jeep the way it is 🙂

Ok, I didn’t want to pull rank here but it’s one of those things that a little lightning bolt of electricity comes out of and then you touch the glass and it follows your finger. It’s just missing the glass dome! Come on, we’ve all played with them at the mall…
I’m going with rare. Developed in the land neighboring the land of oz…. it’s a unijeep (like unicorn). If you touch its horn you’ll be cured of all sickness.
