UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
(05/27/2015) I see nothing to indicate this is a 1945.
“I hate to let my jeep go but we just had another baby and I need to free up room in the garage and my wife won’t let me put a car seat in it. ha
Its a 1945 Jeep Willys. It has the factory Go Devil Engine and 3 speed.
It runs great and fires up the first time every time.
I have put a lot of work and money into it mechanically.
All the work was done at C&Ds Performance here in Mansfield.
The motor was gone through, it has new plugs & wires.
New carb, mechanical fuel pump, Steering, brakes.
It’s been converted from 6volt to 12.
So it also has a new starter and alternator.
4 wheel drive works great and all the gears shift smooth.
The was garage stored for 30 years before I got it so the body is in great shape.
There is no rust on it and the body is straight for a 60 year old jeep.
I thought about painting it before selling but I’ll see what happens as it is.
Like I said it runs great but none of these Willys are speed demons so its not a commuter.
I have a clean blue Texas title in my name.
Let me know if you have any questions or want to come see it.
I may trade if you have something I’m interested in.
No Boats or junk. I would really like a newer wrangler but I’m a guy so who knows let mw know but with a new baby in the house cash is king. ”

I agree on nothing indicating a 45. A lot not correct or original here. Has some floor and hat channel issue. The bed looks nice though
Hi Dave you are right there is nothing there indicating that it is indeed a 1945. It is however an early 1946. Even the serial number tag on dash is the final version ( 4th I believe) before the switch to single instruction tag. If seller or buyer wanted to really know what year it really is they could scrape off a few components and note the date codes on the major components.
