Or do you think the paint/color ruined these a bit?
Technically, they aren’t deep slot mags but rather fake ones. The deep slots are cast aluminum, while these are steel. Over the steel is chrome. The chrome fades, peels, or chips, causing rust. I suspect the seller had little choice but to sand them and paint them.
In that case, they actually did a pretty nice job.
I’m starting to think I want some style of deep dish rims for my 44 MB/CJ mix jeep.
