This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/30/2015) Has an updated motor and some other mods. It appear it hasn’t been licensed since being in Alaska.

“Willys jeep Dj body ( I think it’s a mid 60sbody made by kaiser ) mounted on 4×4 frame (not sure what year frame is never looked for #s) hei 3.8 Buick engine,lock out hubs, has not ran in years , been stored inside until this year, I don’t have any other pics right now I live in rogers and jeep is in mo. I have owned over 20 years ,Bill of sale Brad”

Runs, but needs work.
“Its an almost completed project, it runs and drives .
It has a rebuilt Chevy 283 out of a 1960 Bel-Air that purrs like a kitten!
Custom 16″ wheels with like new 235/85 R16 Cooper Discovery Tires.
What it needs:
The Carb. needs to be rebuilt.
It has two cracked windows.
Needs a speedometer.
I spun the brake line about an inch from the Master Cylinder while putting a new one on. A double Flare tool would fix that in just a couple of minutes.
The seats need to be reupholstered. Very easy to do!
Missing Body Trim.
And the lights need to be hooked up.
The only rust is on the driver and passenger floor boards.”

Doesn’t run.
“1946 Willys. This jeep is ready to be restored! It is not currently running but was running about 7 months ago. I don’t know enough about it to get it running agin so I’m going to have to sell it. ”
