I find this interesting reading looking at the prices mentioned. The dealer in the first letter states that the profits from being a Willys dealer have made it possible to own his dealership building, have a parts stock worth $9000.00, a wrecker worth $1500.00, he is very proud of his accomplishments made possible by being a Willys Jeep dealer.

Look at those prices today, $9000.00 can’t even buy you a new Jeep. I know as a kid, that was my dream, to work at the local Jeep Dealer and work my way up to owning the dealership. Not possible anymore, for me or anyone else of average means. A very different way of doing business. That’s what I miss, but that’s what I enjoy about reading all the great information Dave passes on to all of us reading Ewillys. THANKS DAVE
