Steve found this photo from Camp Tyson of a jeep pulling a barrage balloon.

Glenn spotted this on Hemmings. I looked for a similar example from a brochure and magazine, but didn’t located one. The closed ting I found was the Baby-Jeep-Duriez from France.

Only one is pictured. Not sure if the other is a ’46 2A or not.
“2 willys jeeps, 1 title non running”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3653.
Has some updates.
“Here is your chance to own a piece of History. This is the real deal, a Ford GPW. Not many left, and likely saw service in WWII. This one features a Willys flathead 4 cylinder, t90 3 speed trans, twin stick transfer case, and dana axles. The hood still has some original military markings, and there are still some F script parts. This rig runs like a singer sewing machine and has literally logged thousands of miles in the sierras on a multitude of cool back country trips. The price is more than fair for a turn key piece of history. No offers without seeing the rig, yes it can be shipped worldwide at your expense.”
UPDATE: UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
Dennis noted it was a Lefty. And it runs.
“Runs drives has title…. Original motor and trans… Call it text ”
Has a fiberglass body.
“1948 Willys Jeep F-head 134 ci 72 hp motor, t-90 transmission, power steering, 12 volt conversion, pto wench, fiberglass body lots of fun 3000.00 or best offer”

(01/19/2016) The body looks like fiberglass to me.
“1951 Willies Jeep

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
Bob forwarded this one. Interesting top. I assume that’s home made or modified?
“1950 willys cj-3a keep I bought as a project and just don’t have the time anymore this is a nice jeep the body is rough but the frame and motor are in good shape it just needs a starter. They sell new sheetmetal body’s for this jeep around two thousand dollars the top is said to be a very rare factory top and could easily be worth more than I’m asking alone. I’d like to get around 1000 dollars obo also open to trades”
Craig spotted this one. Might have some value, especially if it has dually adapters.
“Here’s something you won’t see everyday – a 1951 Willys pickup that has (we think) a 1948 Chevy dually diff with a pto powered dump bed powered by a ’50s Ford Flathead V8 engine. What a Frankenstein. We actually spent a lot of time rebuilding the carb and distributor and getting it all set up. Ran like a champ for about a minute until a valve stuck. Heads are currently off, but machined and ready to reinstall. To make it easier we got another ’50’s Ford Flathead that turns freely and ought to run that goes with it as a spare.
It’s as unusual as they get. Body is fair. This could be a great yard truck with very little work.”
