Clean after two loads to the dump.

  1. I spent the past week cleaning up my parents’ garage, opening up the ceiling, removing cobwebs, fixing insulation, and hanging seven new light fixtures (found 4 foot 3-light florescent light fixtures for only $10 a piece with working lights!). With the book done and the garage cleaned, I can get to the business of completing Biscuit.
  2. One thing I still need for Biscuit is a Buick (or GM/GOP) scattershield. Anyone know of one for sale? eBay and Craigslist has been a bust.
  3. That DJ-3A in Montana popped up on Craigslist again. If the floors are solid, Ann and I have decided to get it. Our goal is to get it running and worry about everything else later. If everything goes as planned, we’ll take our jeep to Montana next week, rent a trailer, and bring the jeep back.
  4. This weekend Rob Stafford invited me to Overbored’s PNW4WDA jeep race in Ethel, Washington. So, I’ll be staying in the camper there for a couple days (Ann will be in Spokane, so it’s just me). There will be racing Saturday and Sunday. If you ever wondered about jeep racing, come by and say hello (I believe visitors can get in for $10 or so).

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.

Doesn’t run at the moment, but could be a great price. It includes an overdrive.

“1949 Willys CJ3a with an early 60’s Buick oddfire V-6 conversion. Recently rebuilt T-90 transmission with warn overdrive and model 18 transfer case. Last year the master cylinder developed a leak and it has been sitting since. Ran fine but battery is completely dead. Do not have the time to get it driveable again.”

1968 M-151 Wickenburg, AZ **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: M-151 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.

This might interest someone.

“This is a rare barn find.
1968 Ford Military M151 Jeep. Also known as a MUTT.
You see it as we found it.
4 cyl engine
With 4 wheel independent suspension.
It is basically all original. Has the original 24 volt system.
Comes with all the military manuals.
We do have a new top, still in the box from the owner, that goes with this jeep.
We also have the original doors and side curtains. They are intact and working.
We did give it an oil change, 2 new batteries, new water pump and master cylinder.

This would be a great hunting/ camping rig. A great desert runner.
It starts, runs and drives.
Has a clean Arizona title!!!!!

Please note: My phone is NOT a smart phone so I do not receive texts or email alerts.
It is best to call me as I might not see an email until later in the day. ”

1948 CJ-2A Eugene, OR **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1700.

Needs clutch, but runs, powered by a Studebaker engine.

“1948 Willys CJ, with a Studebaker Flat 6 engine. runs and drives well, however it needs a new clutch rod. at one point it was converted to a hydraulic clutch out of a rambler. the master cylinder went out and broke the old clutch rod it was in very bad shape and couldn’t be repaired. if you have a welder and time to do a little Fab work you can have yourself a beautiful willys. it also needs new lockouts. someone did a Bondo job on the body and painted it, the tires are like new runs great.
if interested please call or text above, serious inquiries only please. No trades
Fyi, at some point I will have time to fix the clutch rod and the price will go up accordingly”
