This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Meyer brand hard top for early cj5 willys jeep I believe it’s got all pieces but the doors are disassembled and missing one back side window has some damage at the front edge above the windshield but I had installed it on mine and there didn’t seem to be any problems’
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
It’s a project. It’s listed as a 3A, but has a 2A body and windshield. The chassis appears to be 3A.
“So, I’ve decide to sell all of my toys and projects. The last thing on my list is my 1950 Willys CJ3A. I own two businesses, go to school full time and work a part time job. I have zero time to put into any projects. The Jeep is tore completely apart and ready to be refinished and reassembled so a trailer and truck will be needed to pick it up. I have $3500 invested so far, but will entertain reasonable offers.
The good:
The body is in decent shape, I have new steel to put into it and new pre-bent floor pans
The frame is good, there are no cracks around the horns, just small amount if recent surface rust
I have the fabled clean title, in hand, and will also do a bill of sale
Motor is not seized and I have a video of me driving it before the teardown
Has the rear seat
Has a Cj2a split window windshield
The bad:
This is not a matching numbers jeep and the data tags were missing when I bought it
It’s in 1000 pieces.
Everything needs wire wheeling, sanding or sandblasting
All suspension parts were shot, rusted and unusable.

This February 17, 1960, article from Florida’s Lakeland Ledger introduced the new “Maverick Special” wagon to readers.
This July 25, 1946, article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette introduced the Jeep Station Wagon, designed to carry passengers or freight.

Has some practical updates for offloading.
“1952 M38 302 2 bbl V8..T90 3 speed & spicer 18 transfer case with 1 3/8 in.idler shaft and warn overdrive. Front and rear axles have 538 ring and pinions and both have power lock limited slip differentials. Disc brake front and modern shoes in rear. York compressor on board air with 3 gal tank and front and rear air chucks. 2 year old Best Top and bikini soft tops. Sears ( old timey ) model 667391000 winch..31 in. tires & spare 5 point seat belts.Tow bar. All paperwork, manuals and spare parts.Also has a working heater. This is really a good old girl that will go just about anywhere.”

Looks solid.
“1942 Ford GPW, Clear tile and matching frame number and data plate. It was restored 10+ years ago. It has the GPW “f-script” engine head with a newer model CJ2A “Go Devil” engine block, T-90 transmission and Dana 18 transfer case. If interested, a 1943 Ford GPW T-84 with “f-script” GPW transfer case is available. The GPW is in very good condition, starts right up with initial choke, runs good, transmission and transfer case shift fine, 12 volt system generator. It has Bestop brand seats and top with clear plastic. It has some flaws with the paint.”
