Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Steve’s got this set of cool vintage floor mats for sale that were from JC Whitney. Looks like it would fit a CJ-5.
“Genuine antique JC Whitney still in the original box floor mats. One for the front of the cj and one for the back, both have the word Jeep on them. These are back in the days rubber was rubber. The front appears to be formed with Whitney craftsmanship to fit over the sensual hump on the floor board that many admire but won’t admit in public.
You aren’t going to find these rare accessories anywhere else.

Don spotted this M-151.
“For sale is my 1961 FORD Military 1/4 ton tactical vehicle M 151 or “Mutt”. Clear PA title! NEVER CUT!!! New wiring harness. 4wd works, motor purrs right along. Typical Mutt rust, leaks/drips… battery box, hat channels, minor body rust and dings. Comes with top, doors, side curtains extra wheels and tires, manuals.
The blue light and siren are for show only and don’t work, the Mutt is mocked up to be a Military Police vehicle. Not shown is a full sized, white/black magnetic strip that says MILITARY POLICE which goes on the windshield, right below the glass. I had that made from an original reflective door decal from Fort Campbell, circa 70-‘s when I was an MP located there, and is just how our jeeps were marked then. …

Aluminum dash new seats and 4 point belts on going project not yet done but usable (needs gauges hooked up and shifter linkage a just ed currently registered green sticker just needs windshield to be st legal $5000 on 16ft duble axel trailer or $4500 obo for just jeep will trade for equal value river boat, open bow, minni day cruiser, jet boat”
