I’m always looking for my dad’s 1950 CJ3A, bought in 1962. For some strange reason, I’ve noticed there aren’t as many 1950 CJ3A’s for sale as there are other years. I assume that has to do with production numbers. Anyway, when I saw this one in West Milford, I was hoping it was my dad’s. The guy we sold it to painted it red, and his wife make red and white candy stripe seat covers for it, very much like a DJ Surrey. Last time I saw it was in Wayne, NJ back in 1973. West Milford is about 20 minute ride up Route 23. No tell tale signs that is is my dad’s old jeep. I don’t need “another Willys” but I’ll keep looking just the same.
