Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks solid, but it’s a big price for just being a solid jeep.

“Selling my 1948 Willys CJ-2A Flat Fender Jeep. Jeep is in very good condition for a near 70 year old vehicle. Original 4 cylinder flathead engine that runs great. 4 wd works fine. 12 volt conversion with alternator, new tires, new master cylinder, new fuel pump near new battery, tow bar. Clean NC title. If you are familiar with flat fender Willys Jeeps, you know they are some of the most rugged and fun vehicles ever made. “1964 CJ3B High Hood Willys. Light restoration about 15 years ago. Has a late model HEI Buick V 6 swap done correctly. All stock otherwise. Solid enough to be a retro wheeler as is. Had it running and driving last fall. Needs fuel system revamped and brakes completely redone. Clean Tennessee title in hand. ”

For Sale: NICE ’52 Willys M-38. Not restored. This is an Authentic, numbers matching, unmolested all original flat fender low hood Willys M-38 Military Jeep.
Clear Blue Texas Title.
All the manuals and original owners handbook will go with the Jeep. This jeep was owned by a retired USAF officer who recently passed. It has been under cover and in storage for a significant amount of time. This Jeep is not perfect, but this is the best M-38 solid restoration candidate I’ve seen in YEARS. Floor boards are BEAUTIFUL and SOLID. Tool Kit floor is PERFECT. The only rust-through on the entire Jeep is in the RR quarter panel at the fender support, and it’s minor, as shown in the pictures. Authentic U.S. Army markings still intact and legible. The windshield frame is flawless, the glass is excellent. This Jeep even has the winter top bows installed for the winterization kit and the tracks on the windshield frame and the bottom door tracks.
