This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Ed reports that a few local Willys enthusiasts in Kelowna BC were treated to a local collector’s personal collection this past weekend. He has about a dozen running jeeps and another on the way. A few are missing from the photo and there are 10 or so unrestored on the property. A super afternoon hosted by a great guy…

Seth spotted this highly modified CJ-2A at Bring-a-trailer.
“This 1946 Jeep CJ2A is a modified example powered by a 454ci V8 backed by an automatic transmission. The build was completed around 2013 by a previous owner, and 14 miles have been driven since. A provided appraisal report details further modifications, include new wiring, instruments, and upholstery. Added off-road equipment includes Warn lockout hubs, Rancho shocks, and a transmission oil cooler. This custom Jeep CJ2A is being sold through a dealer with a clear Colorado title.”
Has a few updates.
“Ford 6 cylinder engine, 200 CID, 4 speed transmission, new top and doors, 12k winch, 33-12-50-15 wheels and tires, tow package, roll bar. Mechanic owned. No email or text, phone contact only.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
“69k original miles, lots of original paint and patina, good original
interior. Mechanically it is good, with all new brakes, steel brake lines,
MC, wheels cyls shocks, and rear suspension bushings and shackles. Bad
points are the rear cross member needs replacing to hold on the tail gate..

Interesting cover on the windshield.
“1950 willys jeepster. 350 4- volt, headman headers, Mallory built ignition, Elderbrock carb. Bought it 25 years ago and have just run out if funds to complete. It needs some TLC. I am asking 7,500.00 cash or some cash plus trade for a decent size SUV that will fit our family. (Like a dodge durango). Emails only please. I will respond promptly.
