Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This truck has been shortened and had it’s top lopped off. And, it’s still a project.
“Selling our project, bought this 1953 Willy’s Jeep truck last year intented to paint it and drive it daily. But we have to many projects. It is on a early Willy’s Jeep frame. The guy we bought it from cut the bed down and made it a convertible. Every nut and bolt is new on this. No rust anywhere. Has a 302 out of a 1970 mustang needs a tune up. The wintch works. Has new breaks and a hydraulic clutch. New exhaust except one of the new mufflers needs to be replaced. Needs front shocks”
