While returning from our short camping trip, we spotted this 3B motoring down I-84 at 60MPH heading from Pendleton to Echo, Oregon. It was perfect weather for a jeep drive.

2018 Southeast Willys Get Together October 6th
The Southeast Willys Get Together is only a month away.
1) Our special guest will be Carol Mowry’s 1960 Willys Surrey. Think of Elvis Presley in the movies driving a tropical coral-mist canvas-top Willys.
2) Our “Lunch ‘n Learn” speaker is David James of Ironman Restoration. His family members were among the first to tricked-out jeeps and their business is still going strong today.
3) We’ve got a new T-shirt design. Please order your T-shirt order by September 6 so we’ll have yours ready, at the sign-in table, on October 6.
4) We’ll have some new sponsors in your Goodie Bag, and a few big donations. I won’t tell you what or who just yet. You will have to show up to be as surprised and excited as I am!
5) Local lodging and accommodations can be found on the website at http://www.southeastwillysjeepgettogether.com/accommodations2.html. Book early, it’s leaf season.
6) Visit http://www.southeastwillysjeepgettogether.com to pre-register for lunch, T-shirts (orders due by 9/6/18), tickets, exhibitor and swap-meet space.
7) Same location as in the past: Grace Arts Center; 496 Cardinal Road; Mills River, NC 28759 (3 miles SW of the Asheville, NC Airport)
Register today at http://www.southeastwillysjeepgettogether.com. I hope to see you in 31 days.
P.S. Trophies are awarded to the “Top Vote Getter” in each Willys category.

1945 GPW Arcata, CA eBay
Mike shared this interested GPW build. It was a former Navy Sea Bee Jeep.
View all the information on eBay
“1945 Ford MB GPW. Originally a Navy Sea Bee Jeep. Near new exterior paint. Chassis upgrade with 302 Ford V8, 4-speed transmission, 1980 front and rear differentials, Transfer case with upgraded Advanced Adapter heavy duty rear output housing. Front Disc Brakes, power steering. 302 Engine was professionally rebuilt and is balanced. New Holley 2-barrel carburetor with manual choke. Mallory Unilite Ignition with high voltage coil. Full roll bar.
Hardtop is an 1950s Koenig Iron Works piece. All metal with roll up windows, rear side sliders and standard rear door, doors have locks. Can be removed and I have a bikini top included. Has the correct shovel and ax, heavy duty rear rack and tire mount. Near new tires. Electric wiper. Project was completed around 3 years ago and driven limited times on weekends. Plenty of fun. Has a few minor issues: fuel gauge inaccurate, LED odometer reads intermittent but keeps track fine. Speedometer works great and is accurate. Drives great at freeway speeds as well as off roading fun.”
1952 M-38 Vaparaiso, IN **Status Unknown**
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $25,000.
A reader alerted me to this one. I am told it was recently listed at $10,000 by the former owner. It’s now listed at $25,000 by someone who appears to believe this is a WWII jeep. Maybe the $25k isn’t a serious price, as the seller is willing to negotiate.
