(05/02/2016) Solid jeep, but a few things short of an accurate restoration.

“This is your opportunity to own a piece of history. This is complete frame off 1948 CJ 2A Willys from the ground up. I spared no expense in the process and thought I would have it for the rest of my life. It sits in my garage with a cover over it. Never been off road or in sand. Just a Sunday drive once in a while. It is head turner. Restoration included: L134 engine, T90 3sp. transmission, transfer case with High/Low range 4×4, brake system including wheel cylinders, all u joints, front end, rear end, custom seats, and gauges. Inside tub was done and then added bedliner on the floor and undercarriage. I have pictures of the entire restoration process and a blue title.”
This December 12, 1947, ad was published in the Sullivan Daily Times by the Citizens Garage out of Indiana.
The windshield sits a little far back for some reason. Otherwise, it looks like a solid jeep.

“1952 willys jeep way to much to list”

“Great condition with some modern additions for this classic Jeep.
Comes with the 3.2L Buick V6 odd-fire engine so has a great sound especially through short pipes.
Has typical drive train of T90 manual transmission with Warn Overdrive, and a Dana Spicer 18 two-speed transfer case.
Warn manual locking front hubs with chrome 15” wheels wearing 31″x10.50″ Firestone Destination M/T tires (near new). Jerry can and rear swing gate give this classic jeep a modern touch.
Reclining seats with Pyrotect lap belts and a roll bar make this a safe and comfy vehicle for everyday use.
Warn winch mounted on front
Comes with half doors, full doors, full soft top and bikini top. All in good condition.
Grab this flat fender version of the USA classic and make it your off-road weapon or keep the bikini top on and take it to the beach! It’s ready for anything.”
Listed as a Scrambler (probably just due to listing limitations of the ad software), this is actually a CJ-6.

“Vintage Jeep CJ6 …I have owned her for several years. I am 3rd owner. She’s all stock, no frills, no power steering or brakes, but a blast to drive. 304 v8 with 3 speed tranny. Cruises 70 on the freeway just fine. Don’t want to sell, but looking for a fish/ski boat. Text me, we’ll take her for a spin, and you’ll fall in love with this very rare sweetheart.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000.
This appears to have a Beck Hardtop. This might have a WW2 body.
