Jordan spotted this combo for sale. It includes a dual PTO. Seller mistakes the 2A for an M-38A1.

“* have a 1955 Jeep Willy wagon, in a 1955 Jeep cj2. I am selling them both of them as a package deal or separate. I am asking $3,200. Both Jeeps have original Transmissions. The Jeep cj2 no engine but original transmission with PTO. The Willys wagon original transmission with a 273 Chrysler Barracuda engine out of a 67. The 273 cranks over I haven’t had time yet to fiddle with the starter cuz it is dragging, I am told that it will start and run. Both of them are projects, could be a wonderful Father and Son project together. Have any questions message me”

“The jeep started life as a 1957’s dj3a and was converted to 4wd later on. I have 5 rims and tires, fiberglass hardtop with wooden doors, doors need new wood. I also have the front windshield that goes with this set. i was thinking of keeping this unless i could find or trade for a regular fold down windshield. also have 4 stock leaf springs. make me an offer on this stuff. I need it gone.”

MB at the Sinsheim Museum in Germany

• CATEGORIES: Features, Museums This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Photos of this modified jeep located at the Auto & Technik Museum, in Sinsheim, Germany, were posted to the G-503 Facebook page. After some various guesses, Alexander Schingerlin explained how this was modified.

“Look what you see at the picture, a Lanz Tractor and a strange looking Willys. Gas was expensive in the years after war and someone put the complete unit – engine, transmission, in an Willys. Thats why the cooler is so high and the Engine so far in the front because of the long transmission of the tractor”
