Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Hood thing is mid ‘50s Cadillac air cleaner. F-head engine?

Terrible location for the spare tire… at least in AZ it would be: need the air flow. And restricts visibiity, IMHO. Interesting add-on glove box.
A hot rodder would give his left arm for the Caddy aircleaner mounted on the hood!!!
