Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has indents and an inlet, but the inlet could have have been added afterwards given it is atop the diamond plate. This is not running.
“’42 willys with small block chevy 350. Been sitting about 5 years. (Non running) Was supposedly parked with a bad fuel pump. Otherwise, with a little elbow grease will be a runner driver. Twin stick transfer case, onboard air tank, 12k warn winch. axles and gears are unknown but this thing was SET UP for when it was built… I’d bet it has some crawling gears in it”

The frame is unmarked.

It is a 12 volt system.

“I have a Willys CJ2A that I am looking to sell or trade. Was told it’s a 1946. Has original motor and trans but the engine is froze up. I have pulled the head and have the valves soaking. Body and frame are in good condition and not rusted out. It does not have a title. Bill of sale only. Looking to get $800 obo or trade on atv, guns, guitars, etc. let me know what you got”

“1947 Willys Jeep Cj2a clear title new clutch new top near new tires new front wheel cylinders. Good running jeep comes with electric snow plow and a Ramsey pto winch. Runs good needs seat recovered but no issues. Fresh oil change antifreeze and gear oil in transmission and transfer case. Not rusted out like all the others kept in a garage. Bill shared this post from thedrive.com about a youtuber named DJ (youtube channel Limitliss) putting a Turbo 1.3 liter Suzuki Hayabusa engine into a jeep-rod build. He was originally going to install a ZX10R, but found it to be too damaged to proceed, so he switched to the Suzuki engine.
