I wonder if this was a VEC, based on the drivers side tool indents. It’s actually pretty impressive looking, although NOT for the Willys purist or vintage flatfender folks. Kinda looks like a small nation generalissimo parade jeep ;-).
I’d wondered that as well Joe. Note the column shifter, too. It reminded me of jeeps I’ve seen from the Philippines and India regions.
